I'm hyperactive, at least i used to be. It's not quite showing on me anymore. I have long since had a habit of going to sleep late and waking up early. I try to force myself to sleep more when i can, but during non-school days (summer vacation now, for instance, when my semester is finally over) i wake up at 6 am and go for a quick jogging session. The weather here is exceptionally hot during the summer but at that hour it's usually nice and cool.

My sleeping patterns are usually pretty stable, I'm usually up at around 6am.

Though the majority of people I know tend to be night owls things get complicated especially when I choose to stay over at someone's house. Actually, usually the problem for me is that I will feel more tired the more I sleep in.

Though most of the time when I sleep in, (technically I'm usually in bed using my laptop) I'm not actually "Sleeping" Per se...

But generally I find that being on MLP Forums at night makes me more likely to stay up later. I get sidetracked a lot!  :squee:

But really...

I've been waking up at around 7 and usually stay in bed for an hour or two just using my phone. I don't do much aside from that.

And I like crimson's picture .

My sleep schedule's been pretty insane lately due to it being summer, so I've been sleeping at like, 5:00 or 6:00 P.M. and waking up at 1 in the morning. So, you could say I wake up early :P.

I go to sleep between 6-9pm depending on my husband’s schedule. If he's on overtime, we sleep from 6-7pm until 2:30am. Otherwise, we sleep from 8-9pm until 4:30am. We try not to sleep in on the weekends too long so we don't mess up our schedules

Before I unfortunately ended up working nights, I was actually pretty good at waking up early. In late high school I was terrible, and I even slept in until 2pm some days the summer right after I graduated. Unfortunately a couple of those times would be the very last time I would get to spend a week of summer at my grandparents' house. Maybe if I had known that I might have done things differently, but that applies to many mindsets I had at the time.

It wouldn't be long after that, that things changed for me, though, and I rapidly went from being able to sleep in until 2pm to not being able to sleep in past 10am ever. I don't know if this has to do with my medical issues, it very well could. I usually would wake up in between 8 and 9:30 am. And last year at university, I would literally wake up around 6 am and be just fine. I had a great schedule going there, but it would be demolished when I went back to working exclusively.

I shouldn't be working nights. I know it. But what can I do?

I love sleep so I sleep as long as possible. Plus I don't really feel like time of day is as important as getting a certain amount of sleep. If you're sleeping in the day but get your proper amount of sleep than you'll be fine.

Of course, you gotta follow work schedules. More power to you if that means getting up at the asscrack of dawn.

I'm awake at around 6:30 am or 7 am depending on what time I sleep the previous night, around 9:30 or 10. I'm a heavy sleeper, so I end up getting almost more than 8 hours of sleep.

No, not at all normally, I can get up early if I really need to or something, or I just can't sleep. But usually I'm a late nighter and stay up till like midnight atleast, and sleep in till around 10. Then my parents or my brother wake me up because the rest of them are all morning people who are up at around 6 or something.

Sorry no offense to morning people, but I can't do it. I like my peaceful nights alone on the forums, or playing games, or singing really quiet karaoke, or whatever I want to do. And I just don't like waking at the break of dawn.

Oh, i should probably add that I did use to be a morning person, but this was before puberty. Seriously, before puberty I could go to sleep whenever, and still wake up super early, my parents always said I didn't seem to ever need sleep or something lol.

Now? Not so much, my 17 year old self values his sleep very much so.
