There's a self referring joke somewhere in there at the beginning, I swear. Points for Twilight for questioning the logic of why a magically locked box rode on a rainbow and suddenly landed in the ground to grow a tree.

I was just about to post this too LOL! I am so glad that they are bringing up why Twilight has the new castle and what they are meant to do with it. I just know a lot of bronies have the same question that Twilight had about the castle in the clip. I also know that the map will look super cool when fully animated. Spike stepping on the Pie farm was funny.

The clip makes me pretty excited for season 5. There are some funny jokes in there as well, I hope to see that throughout the whole season. Lol Pinkie... "Hi, Mom and Dad!"

Anyway, one thing I'm hoping they do differently this time around is not dedicating the whole season to the finale, if that makes sense. We spent all of season 4 trying to find those keys. Everything else in there felt like filler. Though this is just the way I feel about it, not necessarily what is true. I still very much enjoyed the season. It just wasn't the mlp I'm used to, but that's fine I just really can't wait to see more.

Sorry it's taken me awhile to update this thread folks, been busy with my move to my new apartment.  Anyways, I'll get right on adding the AMAZING bit of news out of SDCC this past weekend to the OP right away!   We still don't have a premiere date, but this is the first official clip we've gotten yet for S5, and boy oh boy it did not disappoint! 

 

 

Are those Equal cutie marks a test? If not. Does that mean MLP is exploring Communism? OMG!!!

 

Well if they are, it would appear that they're indicting it, since those ponies certainly didn't seem to be cast in a positive light.  I thought that whole town, in the little we saw it, had a very Jonestown-esque feel to it (which would reinforce your communism idea, seeing as Jim Jones basically advocated a religious devotion to communism more or less  ). Anyways, you won't hear me complaining if the show targets communist/cult-like/individualism-killing tendencies in the season premiere; I'd enjoy seeing that all around. 

 

Of course, if it had something to do with Chrysalis and the Changelings as well, I'd be just as happy   (though I kinda doubt it from the clip; I could see her showing up at some point next season, but I just don't think it'll be then).
