Where Does Your First and Last Name Originate From?

My first name is a Gaelic name, and it means "strong, noble, she ascends."

My middle name (because I think middle names are important too) is Greek, and it means "victory of the people."

My last name originated in Norway (*has a mini freakout because I love Norway*), and it means "son of Lars." Lars is short for Lawrence, which is an English name that means "laurel."

I'm sorry. I love names and their origins and meanings. I could go on about this for hours.  :P

My first name 'Keenan' is Irish and the meaning of it is 'Distant Warrior' or a 'Horny Devil' (Yeah horny in the sexual term xD)
And my Last name Green is quite generic and also Irish but means 'Immature' or 'Inexperienced' the immature part matches me more heheh, still I like it, my name literally means 'Immature Distant Warrior'

Or Immature Horny Devil...

My Name is kind of boring seeing as it is just Trent which comes from a river in England being called Trent, because Trent literally means swift. I am the Swift River!!!!!

Last name, Kangas, means farmer or area to farm. I forget, but my families name before they changed it was Peltokangas, so it was like stone farmer or stone farm land. My family was a rock farming family, suck it Pinkie Pie!

Well my Christian name, Anthony, came from my father who was in turn named for St. Anthony. Which is a Roman name, originally Antonius. My surname, Clay, was originally something like Klei which is German because the paternal half of my ancestors were German.

So my name is a combination of Roman and German, long live the nascent Holy Roman Empire!  ^_^

My first name originates from Old High English and means Faithful Guardian. My middle name originates from Old German and means "All Bright" or "A light". My last name also originates from Old Middle German and means Helmsman (It also meant someone who was both wise and who was good at passing on wisdom and good advice.)

My first name is no secret, it's Thom. Officially it's Thomas, which means 'twin'. That's funny because my birthsign is Gemini, which also means twin. (Please don't go calling me by my name, though, I really don't like hearing or seeing it much.)

My last name comes from Switzerland, but it's been in the Netherlands for several generations so we're pronouncing it completely wrong, which means no one ever pronounces it like we do. I've been trying to find out what it means but I have absolutely no clue. (Nobody I know knows, either, and my father has a huge book tracing the name back through the centuries and everything so if anyone would know it's him.)

My last name (which I'm not going to show) is of Irish origin that dates back to before the 10th Century
