I prefer the pegasi since they are the only species of the main three that have the natural capability to fly.

Unicorn is my favorite (magic is cool) but I also really like both the crystal ponies and the pegasi, the crystal ponies are absolutely gorgeous and flight for the pegasi seems fun.

While they may have some pony features, they're an entirely different creature.

 

That's like saying a guy should get accepted into the University he wants to be accepted into because he got a score of 20%

(or something along those lines).

I love them all really it just has a lot to do with their character/design rather than their species.

I don't think any of them are intrinsically better than any of the others, but it just happens that most of my favourite ponies are (or in the case of Twilight Sparkle were) unicorns.

 

There's Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, Trixie, Lyra, Vinyl Scratch, Amethyst Star, Minuette...

 

Which is not to say there aren't a lot of earth ponies I like (Pinkie Pie, Apple Bloom, Apple Fritter, Applejack, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Cheerilee), and a lot of pegasus ponies too (Rainbow Dash, Flitter, Cloudchaser, Blossomforth, Daring Do, Cadence), but there just seem to be more good unicorn ponies than earth or pegasus ponies.

But yeah, I love flight. I love being in the air and seeing far, far away. Sometimes it reminds you of how small you are and that's not a bad thing

I think it's because they don't have any really special abilities besides work hard. Also people want to be able to do stuff they can't do now, since earth ponies are essentially the humans of equestia

This is the most logical argument in favor of unicorns that I have ever seen.

I like all species and stuff, but pegasi hold a special spot in my heart because I've always dreamed of having wings and being able to fly

Over the past few days I've grown fond of the Crystal Ponies. What I find most interesting about them is there are no Pegasus or Unicorn Crystal Ponies, but only Earth Crystal Ponies. This is in reference to how crystals come from the earth. Not only that, but I think the designs of this race are pleasant to look at.

 

I also like unicorns. The wide range of spells they can perform is interesting to look at.
