well, me and my friends arent really the nicest crowd and we screw with eachother, and while it doesnt actually bother me because we're screwing around, it is scientifically proven that your body is effected by certain words

so i think that its effecting me negatively

Yeah, even if you don't feel it immediately, being in a negative atmosphere can do that. Have you considered telling them how it makes you feel?

Yes, and I would say that you don't always realize the impact you have on others.  Even if 95% of people find you annoying or don't like you, there's 5% that are glad you said what you said or did what you did.  People might be thinking, "Yeah, that's a weird thing to say, but I'm weird too.  This guy's like me."

Be proud of who you are, warts and all.  The first step is to love yourself.  If you can't do that, then it won't seem like any amount of love from other people is deserved or genuine.

EDIT:

Depression runs in my family so I'm very familiar with the struggle.

Let me see if I can conjure up something that might help here.

We're all here because we all like ponies, right? Sure, some of us may like some of the characters more than others, but I think most of us can agree that most of the characters on the show are indeed likable. For some reason or another, we're attracted to these ponies and drawn in to their magical world.

There may be any number of reasons why you think your favorite pony is lovable, but lets do a thought experiment here. Pick your least favorite pony of the mane six, and think about whether or not they deserve love. Sure, maybe you don't like them too much, but can you really say that they are not worthy or deserving of love, if they were real?

In fact, lets take this a step farther. If your least favorite pony is Rainbow Dash, imagine that she can't fly. If your least favorite pony is Rarity, imagine that she is neither beautiful nor generous. Take away every positive characteristic from your least favorite character, until they have nothing left.

What you have left is a pony with no special talents or traits. This was already your least favorite pony, but now you've taken away those positive qualities that you saw in her.

Now, imagine that this pony is real. She walks up to you, scared and slightly hesitant, but toward you nonetheless. She struggles to maintain eye contact, afraid that you'll stare at her and be disgusted by her appearance.

After a short pause, the pony finally speaks. She looks up, and through her limited supply of courage, manages to break the silence. "Do I deserve to be loved?" She asks.

Well, does she? If this really happened, what would you say to her?

Would you think she doesn't deserve to be loved, just because she's not your favorite pony? Would you change your mind if she stopped being good at something? Would you hate her if she made a mistake and did something wrong? Would you?

Or is there something more to it than that? What would one of the characters have to do to make you stop seeing them as worthy of love? Is there anything?

That's a lot of open-ended questions, but the message is this. What makes somepony worthy of love is the fact that they exist. To err is to be human... no one is perfect, and it is our imperfections that differentiate us from inorganic entities. One cannot be human and be perfect, but at the same time, one must be human to be loved.

What does this mean? Simple. Our imperfections are what makes us lovable. Those flaws, whatever they are, are necessary. You don't have to be the best at anything to be loved... all you have to do is exist. Everyone is worthy of love by default, and often, the people who recieve it the least are in need of it the most.

This is why we always cheer for the underdog. This is why we prefer characters with flaws over those who are perfect. This is why characters like Derpy are held so dearly by the fanbase. In each of us is a big, nasty ball of imperfections--we're all aware of it, and that's why we can relate those characters who have such struggles. That forms a connection, a bridge... and that's exactly what love is.

What makes you doubt that?

Short and simple answer: life.

Feel free to add me on steam if you want to play something. Also don't be afraid to message and talk to me. I've had bad luck when I start a conversation, so I more then likely won't start one.

I feel loved as I spread the love to my fellow Brothers and Sisters on God's green earth.

By my family and close friends yeah, but when I'm in school sometimes I feel pretty empty. Not that I make such an effort for a very "social" life there anyways.

Also, every "romance" I had turned up pretty bad I guess

I've been very blessed to feel both loved by my family and friends.  :rarity:

That would describe me as well. Of course it hasn't been perfect, but I do know the love is there. :)

I definitely don't feel like I'm loved here at home :( I lost my mother who was the only person in my life that really truly loved me and did so much just to keep a roof over our heads. Now I'm stuck with a family that doesn't love me for who I am and tries to change me :(

The only person left who loves me is my boyfriend, but sadly he's very far away from me :(

I'm sorry about your mother and I'm sorry you feel isolated from your current family.  It's disheartening when your own family can't seem to get you.  But regardless, they probably still care about you.  Maybe they won't accept or acknowledge something now, but eventually, you'll move out or go off to college after high school is wrapped up and then it becomes something that they can't change because you're living your own life.  In the meantime, just thinkie like Pinkie.

Yes 100%. The fact that I have my parents and brother, and even some of my more distant relatives always helping me to better myself and take care of me, often considering me, shows that I do feel loved.

Do I argue with my parents or have hardships? Yes all the time! But that's part of life. You or your may even say something stupid like I "don't love you" but it doesn't mean they don't care for you unless they really don't. Actions speak louder than words and I am happy to say we love and care for each other in my family.

I hope the same could be said for everyone, if not from their family, then anyone they're close to.
