I'm more of a pencil person. You can erase the mistakes of a pencil, as well as using it for different kinds of things like drawing. Plus, I honestly think that pen writing looks rather messy.

It depends. If I'm writing something, and I want it to last forever, like, a card or note to somebody, I'll use pen.

For everything else, however, it's always going to be a mechanical pencil.

I am in love with the Zebra F-301 Stainless Steel Retractable Ballpoint pen and the Zebra M-301 Stainless Steel Mechanical pencil.

Pens. I hate having to sharpen pencils every 5 minutes because they either go blunt or the tip breaks, it's really frustrating.

Mechanical pencil for drawing... easily a pen for writing. The school I went to always had us write in pen, so I learned quickly not to make any mistakes because I couldn't fix them.  :wau:

I also just love the feel of the ink on paper. I'm weird, I know.  :grin2:

Vast majority of times .5mm mechanical pencil; don't like using pen and don't like using traditional pencil.

Tried using mechanical pencils?

In my profession, the pencil is unauthorized. So, for the last 7 years, I've used nothing but black ink pens. I don't see the reason for pencil anymore, unless you are in high school, an artist, or an engineer.

A phoenix feather.

Oh, no, no, no, wait--a feather from the Angel of Valhalla.

But seriously, I always used erasable pens for most writing, but I'm also an artist, and do fine pencil drawings with an assortment of Prismacolor grays, and other various neato pencils.

Pens, but not just any pens. Specifically the Pilot G-2, preferably an ultra fine point or an extra fine point. Regardless of the make and model pin, I don't like medium and bold points. They make lines way too thick and messy for everyday writing.

I pretty much always use pencils, unless I'm writing a something formal or my signature.

Mechanical pencil all the way. Ive been using those bad boys for sooo long. I just like the lead and how it works, but I hate how the eraser does that smearing black stuff thing when it gets really short.

I once had a pen with an eraser that ACTUALLY WORKED. Ive never come across one erasable pen that worked, Id love to get more of those but I happened to find it by chance like all my other writing utencils.

Drawing with a pencil, and writing with a Montblanc pen, to look all professional and stuff.  ;)

I like pens better because they go on paper smoothly and I just love the look and feel of a pen in my hand. I rarely use pencils because the graphite gets on the side of my hand and sometimes a smuge the graphite on my paper, making a mess.
