What was your reason to join this community/forum?

well...I started my singing and song writing with a YouTube account around the 20th of April...wanted to get it advertised, considering a random account wouldn't get subs...since part of my work was pony based, I knew the only way it could receive at least some love was to try and share it with the brony community...looked online of how bronies would share their music...the use of forums came up, this was the best one, and so I joined....

 

I know this wouldn't be the best way the get my music out to the world, but we gotta start somewhere...

 

now I just help others by trying to make songs for their OCs, and try to be more a part of the fandom here....

I found mlp to be great ( all gens ) and also liked the community ( the tumblr blogs, the youtube channels, the artists ) and they seemed to be very nice 

So i wanted to be part of this Fandom, also i like to draw furrys and like cute things, so mlp forums already interested me a lot, before even watching that much mlp 

I did choose this site, since it is the biggest site i could find 

I search either for really big sites, since the possibilities is big that i found some famous bronys here or search for smaller forums ( like, very small forums ) because they are often happy if more people come to them

I don't regret joining the forums at all, everyone I've talked to and have as my friends are really awesome people and I mean that.

I found and join this community few days after the girl I dated for a year passed away. I thought that joining this community would help keep me at ease after she died but I'm kinda half wrong on that.

 

How active I am? It's uncommon and that because I come by time to time to see what interesting threads are new. Other than that I'm thinking why am I here if I still hurting a lot that I'll miss the girl who truly loved me? As I technically don't really have friends, or best friends to be exact.

It was simple, I liked the show and liked online communities so I joined the community!

As for joining this forum... Truth is I've been away from the MLP fandom for years. I disappeared to get away from my stalking ex bf who was also in the community, and I went dark for a long time. I still watched the show, I just stayed away from communities of any kind. Earlier this year when my life was at the lowest its ever been, I started reassessing things and the stuff I was scared of keeping me away from what I love. I remembered how kind the community was to me, accepting like none before, and I abandoned it because of one abusive relationship and the fear he would find me. But I'm not scared anymore. Funnily enough, after the show ended, I returned and joined this forum, and it's like I'm getting everything back. ♡ I miss my old friends, but in their place I've made so many great new ones, and I'm very happy about that~

It had already been eleven months since I became a brony but I had been hesitant to join any sites.  I had been on the very occasional forum before but barely ever used any of them because I didn't feel I was going anywhere in terms of making friends who are into the same things as me.  In school, I never had any friends at all so it was very easy to feel alone.  I remember making a very clunky first post where I kind of opened up a lot.  I've gotten a million times better with words since but the fact that so many replied to it and were so genuinely nice, I realised then that maybe this is the perfect place for me. 

And now, I have more friends than I ever thought I could have.  It's all thanks to everypony on here who make waking up to this forum everyday so special.  To spread the word of my six favourite ponies everyday is an amazing feeling and never once have I not enjoyed every moment of this experience.

When I first discovered the ponies in season 2, I loved the show, but shortly after I heard that there was a huge following of adult fans called Bronies which got me curious. I’d never been on a forum before so I decided to check it out. I started on a different pony forum (EqF) and stayed there for three years before I came here. I like it way better here but the old forum served a purpose because I made most of my mistakes there, so by the time I came here I was perfect more accustomed to how things work. This is the only fandom in which I actually participate with others and I like that aspect of it because it’s completely unique. And I love the ponies, so here I am and here I’m gonna stay.
