Things you hope/expect to do in 2016?

I have a few goals for 2016...I don't know how realistic they are, but here goes nothing!

 

1. Read a total of 100 books (2016 is going to be Year of the Books for me!)
2. Apply as a vendor for BronyCon and actually be able to vend 
3. Sell my artwork and be able to make a living off it

In 2016.... I hope to

1. Accomplish my goal of world domination

2. Buy another car

3. Lose weight

4.Save up a ton of money

5. Go to Comicon

6. Maybe show up at Bronicon

7. Possibly start cosplaying

8. Maybe show up at Minecon

I'm hoping to

 

• Get my permit and driver's license, and a car would be nice.
• Go to more conventions
• Finally apply for and get a job
• Start watching shows I've been meaning to watch, but haven't gotten around to watching.
• Make or buy a pony fursuit for conventions.

.The last 3 all have one thing in common. They're things I'd like to do but haven't gotten around to.

In 2016, I want to:

• Learn how to make amazing curry.
• Write at least a few short stories.
• Gain at least 10 pounds.
• Learn some Spanish.
• Watch a few of the cartoon shows I've not seen yet.

There are other things, but at least that's a start!

It's definitely a year I'll look forward to. I'll finally finish my bachelor's this year. I'll going to propose to my girlfriend. I've only started working on a new day job in a huge tech firm, but I'm doing well it's likely that in 2016 I'll shoot forwards for a promotion.

I expect to grow more as an individual. Not based on chance, but by intention. I want to be a better person than I was this year. I hope to challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone, because it's only through being made uncomfortable that you can truly grow. So yeah, for 2016, I don't want to just float by. I want to be challenged to swim. If I sink, I have people who will help me.

What I want to do next year is make a trip (via the train) to a fan convention outside of California (my home state). I'm thinking either Midwest Brony Fest or Denver Comic Con.

In 2016 I want to go to a pony convention, maybe I'll be able to go on Galacon or a least on Czequestria (if it will be in 2016) and may find a job for vacation.

Well, I'm planning to

• Learn how to play piano (I'm getting a keyboard for Christmas)
• Actually get to writing my fanfics
• Stop procrastinating
• Learn German (starting out pretty well so far)
• Finish catching up with shows, most importantly the 120 more episodes of Sailor Moon to watch

Am I actually going to do half these things? Probably not! But I might as well plan.

2016 looks like the year of learning new things.

I want to be back home in Washington. My mom and brother already left, but my dad and I stayed behind to fix up the house. We can't leave until it sells, so we're stuck here.

 

More and more people keep leaving to live in big cities, and hardly anyone wants to move out to small-town, North Dakota. I understand why, because it sucks out here.

 

Enough whining, though. In regards to actual goals, I plan to...

 

Go to my first pony convention

Get a car
