I'm really excited about the new Pokemon games coming out later this year. I'm a little surprised that there is no Z version for generation 6, but I'm still looking forward to Sun and Moon. I'm definitely picking up Moon version when the games come out, and I also can't wait to see what the new games have when more news updates get released.

Most likely fake, as this kind of "leak" has been used repeatedly with previous announced new gens. But we'll see; if it's the case, then I'll take the water type.

I've seen 5th gen Pokémon that made me question the series' creativity, but this is just...... . I have really doubting thoughts about the concept. And now I'm hoping they're not real.

 

The grass one does resemble quite a lot like those Piantas from Mario.

I'm SO excited for both those games. More Pokemon means more fun! Ooh...the more I think about it the more excited I get.

I'm really tempted to get the owl. But as I said to my brother and sister I'm breaking from usually picking the grass or fire starters, it's Popplio for me.

I'm so happy that they're substantially moving away from the 2.5D feel that has plagued GIV, V, and VI. The 3DS is, obviously, capable of so much more.

 

Not sure I'm all too excited for a completely tropical locale, though.

So a tropical region. Meh, Hoenn did the tropical thing already. The only difference here is that it's more of a Hawaiian. 

 

Not sure which starter to choose yet. Maybe Litten for adorableness and the fact that I don't typically choose the fire starters or Rowlet for my love of owls. Though I'm too keen on that type combination. It's setting itself up to have a lot of weaknesses.

Really? I liked Pokemon until they started becoming psychic eggs and magnets.

I liked the magnet ones...

Seriously, Magnezone is one of my personal favorites.

 

But anyway, I'll actually buy the new game when it comes out, because a friend of mine got me interested in competitive pokemon battles. 

I suck at them now, but just wait until I get the game and start getting a notebook and write down the results of every battle, and what went good/wrong. I'll learn fast enough if I do that. 

 

EDIT: Just watched the trailer. The starters seem "meh" to me, I'm not a great fan of those designs. Rowlet seems kind of cool, Litten is good, but Popplio just seems silly.

The legendaries are amazing though, I really like 'em both! Now the question is, which one will be the best in competitive dual battles?  :awuh:

I've been a bit jaded of Pokemon since Omega Ruby, so I wasn't expecting much...

 

... until I saw the grass owl starter, Rowlet. It's adorable, based on my favorite animal and is the only starter that begins double typed with Grass/Flying, of which there are only five other Pokemon with the mix (The Hoppip line, Tropius and Shaymin Sky Form). And that sun lion! If I wasn't sold on Sun already, I am now. Let's just hope it fixes a few of the issues I had with Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.

I am having a religious experience right now...I am gonna do something different and choose a grass starter this time. I am glad the different skin toned character options are back.

 

And I thought this region was based on the Philippines at first...Which made me happy. But I guess it's based on Hawaii...I guess Gamefreak is trying to appeal to Hoenn fans again.
