First off Big Mac isn't a backround character. He's a supporting character.  And of course My favorite (Mane character) backround pony is Octavia. The only Earth pony who can play an instrument without the use of magic.

My favorite background pony is Derpy Hooves because Derpy represents a great opportunity to reach out to people who are seen as different. I identify very heavily with Derpy because I grew up with Autism and because of that was often singled out. Derpy may or may not have any disabilities aside from her wall eyes and slight clumsiness, but alot of disabled people identify with her because she gives the message that just because somepony is a little different dosen't mean that they deserve the same respect as everypony else. And it is for this and a few other reasons why I think she deserves her own episode as unlikely as it unfortunately is.

 

For those that don't know, there is a Derpy fanclub and I think that one could use a little more attention.

When I first became a Brony, yeah she was pretty cool, but I was like meh. I used to really like Lyra back then, but over time, I started reading more and more Vinyl fanfiction, and she sort of became an obsession :L
Now, all my wallpapers and themes are of Vinyl, I wear Vinyl tee's all the time, the favourites section on my fimfiction account are all about Vinyl, and I've started listening to the music from the 'Vinyl Scratch' Youtube channel.

I love the character Octavia! She is my absolute favorite. She has a nice design and she plays classical music. Another reason she is my favorite is a rather odd reason. I was playing Black Ops 2 with an Octavia emblem. Some guy asked if Octavia was my favorite so I just adopted her as my favorite background character.
