What music genres do you listen to?

I'd have to go with Metal, dubstep, and I legitimately listen to vaporwave. Metal because... well... I like that standard guitar, drum, and mic combo that's missing today. Dubstep because it follows the standard measure system (and the beats are sometimes pretty good). Vaporwave? Well... it's... relaxing?

I also like rock and pop from the 80s and 90s, some 60s rock, and classical music. I will listen to other things, but those are my favorites. ^^

I listen to a lot of alternative rock, progressive rock, classic rock, classical, ambient, grunge, new wave, blues, punk, a bit of pop, a bit of country, a bit of EDM, a bit of metal, and a bit of dubstep. Basically, my taste in music is scattered across the whole musical spectrum.

Everything. Literally. For the longest time I was just a classic rock and metal enthusiast. Then being in the fandom got me in to electronic music. Then I decided that I just liked all types of music except Hip-hop, Rap and what ever trash was being played on the pop music radio station. Of course I realized that not everything new has to be bad (though popular music nowadays does end up being pretty generic), and I decided to stop judging rap until I actually listened to some. I found out there is some rap I like, and I can certainly appreciate the talent behind it. Yeah so know I like all genres now (Eccept country)

I still listen to rock the most, right now I'm really into punk rock and hardcore, the energy at those concerts is just amazing,

I've only listened to one of Rise Against's songs, but I've been meaning to check out some more. Do you have any suggestions? I love their "Help is On the Way".

Their older stuff tends to be heavier/more punk influenced then their most recent material, but I like it all. I have to recommend Savior (my favourite song of any band at the moment), Hairline Fracture, Hero of War (if you want a softer acoustic song), Give It All  is an example of their punkier roots and Ready to Fall is just another personal favourite  :-P Basically anything from the Appeal to Reason album is quality. Hope this helps

My main choices of music tend to center around metal (symphonic, power, progressive) and orchestral (classical, tv/film/game scores), and that is where I tend to stick for the most part. Aside from that I also have a love for punk ska; as well as bits of country & dubstep here and there.
