I really hate English.

I hate the research papers, I hate the essays, I hate poetry, I hate reading, I hate all of it.

I'm much more of a math person.

So what subject or subjects do you hate?

While I understand not enjoying Language Arts it's important to note that reading and writing are fundamental in every subject you pursue. I too also dislike papers but they are there to help build the skills to write professionally. Even in advamced maths you still have to publish in journals and need to have the fundamental writing skills down.

Although I take English and enjoy it! I hate the fact that I'm expected to write 21 pages in 3 hours for my Final!

They all suck. It's not that I have no interest in learning. I have a positive thirst for it. But the way things are taught in school is where I have an issue. School doesn't work for me, so I guess the only subject I could come close to listing here is Art, because it's one subject that schools can't confuse me on. It's a self-taught discipline and that's they way I like it.  :proud:

Any type of advanced math whatsoever. Not only is it stuff that I most likely would never use ever in my lifetime, I am also a moron and can barely handle it anyways. To give an example, I don't think I ever passed Algebra 1 in High School. I am so awesome and smart.

English and Math suck, I mean these two subjects were fine until I started high school..I've been struggling with both now, the math more so than the english though

Don't even get me started on history, it puts me to sleep it's so boring

Isn't it technically a scam. You get higher education but nobody wants to hire you because there is no work required for it?. I don't believe in universities or colleges unless i feel its needed. Besides i am incredibly poor. I only finished high school, almost atleast, failed one exam at last year. But i got a degree in ICT apprentice as having a degree in it. So its better than nothing.

Fine with everything except english, it's not my native language, and I absolutely hate the way they teach it there. Learning it from da web and stuff is so much easier and fun.

Cell biology useless class ever.  But.. it depends, if you have a horrible professor then expect your class to be a drag.

or the departments, if  there's huge a*hole running the department, then that will makes life harder for us and the professors.

Math, i hate math. I always struggled with it. My 11th and 12th grade year with geometry and algebra 1 and 2 i got good grades in. My final grade was a B in all of them i think, but it took a monumental effort especially Algebra 2. With my Algebra 2 senior year i stayed after school everyday for an hour and a half doing all the practice problems in the book even if i didn't have any homework as well as inscribing the days notes into my notebook from the pictures i would take on my smartphone.

From what I could remember from my days in college--it was well over a decade ago--I never liked the Math courses I had to take though they were in truth Grade 12 High School courses--credit-free upgrade courses. This was because in one of them, calculators weren't allowed to be used and so we had to solve problems on our own. We even had to take exams without the use of one thus making it even more difficult than it should have been.

Math. Math was a sure-fire way to make me feel like a failure at life.

Thankfully my day of math courses are done forever. Even nearly 10 years later, that fact still hasn't hit me completely. =P

There was one subject in secondary school I hated super much: it was home economics and it was supposed to be an optional subject to choose. I didn't want to choose that since the mandatory home economics classes always made me feel like the dumbest person of the class. I picked computing instead but not enough people were interested in that so I was forced to go to the home economics class. Everything was so fast-paced which means I obviously half-assed many things because there just wasn't the time for me to do the thing properly. And of course there's the fact that I wasn't any experienced with cooking or baking so I got bad grades too. Not to mention the teacher was loud and that was scary.

Nowadays most of my dislike goes to the gym class since I'm embarrassed of myself.

The most pointless class ever. PHYSICAL EDUCATION (also known as P.E.). I was probably the only person who hated it so much. I feel like there's literally no need for it. I know what running means, and I know what a jumping jack is... Really think it shouldn't be required at all... (Correction to make it sound better... x_x)

Though I just also hate the classroom setting, because there are some really obnoxious people that completely ruin my focus. I want to learn, not listen to what somebody did this last weekend... Urgh! It caused me to fail multiple Pre-Cal tests, and made it the only class I have ever had to take finals for, except Art (because I can't draw.)

'Hate' is far too strong a word, but physical geography really wasn't my thing. It was the combination of boring teaching methods and a lack of interest in the subject material - which is saying something when volcanoes, earthquakes and plate tectonics made up a large chunk of the syllabus. Map reading was ok, but then I was already practiced at that (thank you ARMA.)

Later on, when I had cut my subjects down to just a handful, organic chemistry irked me the most, although I did at least take some of it in (the rules for drawing three-methyl-octane are at least logical, if a bit dull.) Astrophysics was also disappointing, especially compared to the atomic physics we had done before it.

Chemistry. I know it's frowned upon to blame the teacher, but I'm gonna do it anyway. My chemistry teacher was a first-year teacher who just didn't know what he was doing. He was so disorganized and confused all the time and I think he struggled with the subject matter as well. I'm pretty sure he had originally planned to teach a class with easier material.

He always gave us the wrong formula sheets and stuff, so we never knew what to do come quiz or test time. :/ His motto was "My bad".

I've also never enjoyed the material covered in math that much, but fortunately I haven't had a bad math teacher since middle school (back when math was easy :P). So I don't "hate" my math classes.
