I'm thinking about where I want to be in half a decade. I think it's enjoyable thinking about all the possibilities which could still come to be. Where do you think you'll end up? What would you aim for?

I'm thinkin',

  1. Be married to a lovely woman
  2. Own a house and a car
  3. Visit South America and/or Pacific islands
  4. Finish writing a book and/or start making a video game
  5. Save a life

What would be on your list? What are your top five ambitions?

1. Find the right man for me, and hopefully get engaged, for real. (If this doesn't happen, It's okay...)

2. See my pet project to fruition, and get something out of it. (I'm being secretive about it for a reason, though.)

3. Know my true purpose in life (It's foggy for me at the moment.)

4. Get caught up with video games, cartoons, and anime (I'm already starting!)

5. Do something with my life! (Kind of need to do this before anything else!)

Well, I'll have a career by then. Hell, I'll have a career in 2 months. Call this tentative because I honestly haven't planned this far ahead yet.

  1. Work on an open source project in my spare time or continue developing my final project as a serious endeavour.
  2. Lose a few pounds, there's finally time to allocate for exercising.
  3. Finish programming my programming blog and use it to write about how interesting C# and Python features.
  4. Get involved with a few local communities involved with my hobbies.
  5. Form a few long term friendships rather than many acquaintances through educational circumstance.

4 month update:

2 and 3 are going well! I'm slowly on my way back to my old pant size and all it took was about an hour of daily exercise. My blog is kind of going well, I'm updating it here and there.

1, 4 and 5... yeah... I'm not exactly the most social person you're going to run into. I like using my spare time to relax. Maybe I will in the future, but for now, I'm enjoying the peace.

Honestly? Hmm. Mine would be..

- Acquire a house of my own.

- Complete a master's degree

Those are really things i would like to do. Doubt i'll finish the second as i haven't even started it yet, but who knows? It only takes 2 and a half years for that here.

Get married.

Have children.

Get my stories published and out to the public.

Help my brother open his theater and put on shows.

Become more financially secure so I can have more freedom to help others, travel and live in a house (rather than an apartment).

I wonder where the Heck No option is.

But...if you're asking...

1) Graduate high-school as well as college.

2) Visit a foreign, tropical country for at least 6 months. Somewhere like Hawaii or Majorca.

3) Find some sort of profession that not only works for me, but one that I am also passionate about.

4) Move out and go to university, hopefully to expand and explore that passion.

5) Get thrown out of a cinema because I think that it would be funny.

Well, hopefully i'll manage these:
1: Go on a long needed vacation, by car, a roadtrip, and since i took the license a month ago, that'll be so easy now.

2: Find a GF, should be a first time for that atleast.

3: Move to a place outside this town (not getting a house, kinda have one already, inheritance stuff).

4: Quit my current job and do what i really want, biology/nature photography.

5: Grow my own vegetables, especially chilies, extremely hot chilies.

I do have more things i want to do, but atleast those are the things that should be easy to do in the next 5 years.

There isn't really much I can say here since I already have most of what I want. I have my own house, a steady job, a car, a great girlfriend. The only things that remain are getting a single point on the world fencing ranking list and writing and publishing a book, and hopefully making a living out of that for the rest of my working years.

im 26 now and within 5 years I would;

1. Like to be married.

2. Have my first child.

3. Go on holiday abroad. (Ive not done this since I was a kid and Ive only been to France)

4. Live in a house where I can have my own pets (likely to be cats)

5. Be at size 18 again (UK size).

Not necessary in that order.

A lot I want to accomplish in 5 years

1. Graduate university - I'm so done with school.

2. Get Engaged -> Married

3. Buy own house with future wife

4. This would be closer to year 5 but have first child

5. Take a month long road trip (no hotels) -- not really that important but it'd be nice.
