What are you doing for Halloween?

I'm really curious because I know some people do things on that day. :3 I'm not sure what I'm going to be this year. It depends on what the weather is like. If it's cold, I'm going as Share Bear... if not, I'm going as a unicorn. :3 Yes, I still like to trick or treat because it's really fun. <3

So, what about you guys?

I'm gonna do the same thing I did for the past 3 years: Dress up in a full body cloak and full skull mask, sit on my aunt's porch with a bowl of candy in my lap, and scare the crap out of teenage trick-or-treaters by screaming at them and grabbing their arms as they reach into the bowl and say "ONLY ONE" in a deep demonic voice. :D For the kiddies, I'm just gonna slowly look up and stare at them while breathing heavily, then just hand them candy if they get too scared.

Ciderfest is as close as I'm likely to get to have a Halloween. At least there's Cosplay. I haven't had a Halloween in a long time. Seems like you're either a kid and trick-or-treat, or you're an adult and you go party at a club which is basically fetish costuming. No in-between for those who are older but still want the classic Halloween experience. Except maybe in the form of going to a Haunted House.

Maybe I'll try going into the Friday the 13th game again that night. Last year a lot of people had the same idea and we had a sort of wild Halloween party in the game. It was a lot of fun with a lot of good laughs and scares.

I don't do the whole 'trick or treat' thing, and I'm not especially interested in Halloween. However, as I have a roleplaying game scheduled that evening I've offered to run a spooky one-shot.

So on the night in question the players shall don the mantle of the king's nobles, courtiers, servants and assorted hangers-on, and they will go on an All Hallows' Eve hunt. Little do they know that the fey of the Autumn Court are also setting out on a hunt, and that our heroes are now the prey...

For the past several years, I simply stay at home whilst my parents go to my sister's place for the trick-or-treating shenanigans. We used to do the same thing at my place but we stopped when it became apparent that not many kids live around here.

To me, Halloween/Samhain is more of a religious AND fun day for me.  I think I'll spend the evening thanking my ancestors for their guidance so far, leave some offerings out on my altar but beyond that I don't really know what I'm going to do that day maybe take myself out for something or order something????  I have NO idea.  I only hope that I have that day off from work but I don't know yet....

I don't think I do anything as here people don't celebrate it. One thing that I don't like though is how the businesses commercialise the holiday and force it on here too to grab some cash even though it really is not even part of the culture here. Or atleast i dont think it is part if the culture.

I do it the old traditional way, like going trick or treating with my younger sibs.  Then later at night, I'd be doing my halloween pranks by pretending to be a "psycho maniac". So this year I'm going to  dress as El sibon the whistler   and roam around the neighborhood scaring people.

I got candy and comics to hand out to trick or treaters. I am dressing as a Jedi and carrying my saber. Outside of that its my monthly cheat day so good food, watching a ton of Halloween themed movies oh and NightMare Night stuff.

On a more serious note, I also create a day of remembrance alter to those I have lost and meditate on the impermanence of all that lives. Its a day of paying respect to the dead and being grateful for the gifts life has given me.

We just watched "The Great Pumpkin" last night.  It's a tradition my family and I have every October.  And we have to get some Halloween candy to give to the trick-or-treaters when we get some.  We had two or three a couple of years ago, which to me was a suitable turnout.  :P

I usually make a costume and go out with my friend and her kids for trick or treating. I like to go along just to 'inspect candy' and have fun dressing up. This year I'll be dressing up as the female version of Robin from Batman, with my cousin joining for the first time (as Batgirl).

At home, I display a pumpkin (carved the previous day) in my window, and I like to watch Monster House after trick or treating.

Earlier this month I went to experience Halloween Time festivities at Disneyland. It's a fun and safe way to enjoy the holiday.

Halloween isn't really celebrated where I live, so I'll probably be staying at home going about my usual business.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I'm a little too old for trick or treating, so that's out of the question :(

I kind of liked handing out candy and decorating a bit in previous years, but somehow my family isn't too keen on that idea haha, so it'll just be a regular night of studying with porch lights off I guess...
