Okay, Admin and Mods get all the fun announcing ponies who run this place, but do they ever let us mascots do it? Noooo. What am I, chopped hay? 

Years ago this crazy pony by the name of @Lightwing joined the forum, focused on one goal, to ship every member with ever possible combination of members and characters. Jeric was so impressed with this guy that he decided to make him staff, and also as a way to bribe him. You see Lighty had this thing where he shipped Jeric with Buttons Mom. Long story. Jeric’s plan backfired and by giving LW staff powers he created a monster. 

Lightwing grew as a person over the years, weathering many storms with grace and calm. He became one of best Moderators we ever had. He became a legend. He left quietly out the back door with a few kind words and a farewell wave. 

I lit a candle every night hoping for him to return and return he has. MLPF welcome back LW to the Moderation Team and will be running Canterlot and shipping all users mercilessly until another village is in need of his services again.
