I feel sleepy and yet I cant go to sleep as I have a few things I need to do, I need to move a shelf, eat food and drive for an hour and a half all the way home for an appointment at 3PM (its 8:30AM at the time of this post) ... this will be fun

Dishusted! Fleas again! I don't want my baby kitty getting worms again. So Wednesday my gf and I are deep cleaning the apartment and spraying (I do this at least once a week now) and Friday baby kitty is getting another bath and when she's dry her medication!!!!

Went to bed like, 2 in the morning then my parents woke me up at like seven to say they were shovin' off so while I ought be happy they're outta my house now, after like, two weeks of constant stress & bad sleeping patterns i'm working at 6% energy right now.

I feel like I've offended someone here. I kinda regret one of my recent posts.

Frustrated. I'm tired of working overtime nearly everyday. I'm tired of having less than 6 hours a night to feel human. I'm tired of workign my entire youth away, so I can retire when I'm too old and broken down to enjoy the world around me. 

 

I hoped my parents woudl understand. You know what they said? Enjoy that you have overtime. It'll help you save up for the future. That 6 hours a night is plenty of time. That this is the way it's gonna be as an adult, so get used to it. That you shoudl be grateful that you're working for a company that has so much work to offer. 

 

No. I want my 40 hours a week, regardless of how well the job pays. I want my 7am-pm work time. Not my 5am-1/2/3pm work time. And I want to have Saturdays off like every other working adult. I'm tired of wondering if this'll be a normal work day with a normal work week. I want to work for a company that isn't so far behind on it's orders and lacks the ability to retain it's workforce, nor appear attractive to new ones. I'm tired of being scared thinking that this will be how my youth is spent. Stuck in a job, saving so that you don't have to work when your broken down. 

 

This is why i don't talk to my parents. I want soemone to relate to. To get where I'm coming from. Not to be always told I'm looking at things the wrong way. Way to instill that self confidence, guys.

Years ago I once worked at a place that was only supposed to be temporary, but ended up really making me depressed, so resolved to get out of it, which I did eventually. Hope you manage to do the same.

Sad thing is, I've only started a few months ago. I mean it pays well. It's a 15 min walk from my house. The over time should be temporary. I've been told by more than a few people that it's a good company to work for.  Maybe I'll mellow out once things return to normal down the line. Maybe I'm just a spoiled brat.
