Yes, I do find myself stumbling across old posts of mine while seriously considering abandoning my account to make another one. Which I would, but it's a responsibility I will accept.

2014 to the first chunk of 2016 was a very confusing time for me, to say the least.

in 2019, i went through a short phase of trying to act 'hard' on the internet. i would talk like those white, middle class, year ten kids in british schools that think they're solid because they listen to uk drill (i'm not bashing on uk drill, btw. i've got a 100-video-long playlist on youtube of uk drill and i listen to it pretty much every day. but its fanbase is obnoxious af). i'm glad that phase passed quickly

OMG I hate those kids. Such a pain to deal with.

As for me, yeah I cringe so much when I look at old posts on other forums. Like the stuff I said at age 13/14, like bruhhh, I would hesitate to say it now, but I somehow found it so funny back then

99% of the time, I don't cringe.  If it was an old post, I'd know that I was in a different headspace at the time.  It's ok to make mistakes, that's just a part of growing up and changing who you are as a person.  There're only a few posts I've made in the past where I'm like, "Oh boo, what is wrong with you?" or something similar lol...  At the same time, some of my old posts can be triggering since it's talking about something difficult.  Even though I'm out of those situations now, it's still sometimes hard to deal with the memory they've left behind.

More than I care admit, I must say. I truthfully have no clue what got into me from about April to October 2018, and even a little bit after that, but I adopted this utterly bizarre wannabe-socialite persona. If you look at my posts from about that point in time, you will know what I mean.  It truly mystifies me why I thought that was a good idea; regardless of how much affection I had for the Forums, that whole thing was just terribly superficial and inauthentic, even by my standards. I did clean up my act relatively quickly, but I feel like that was the impression I left on a lot of users, which does sting a little bit. I do try not to mope on it either way, though; not much I can do about it really, and it did lead me to a few good folks in the end, so no harm no foul I suppose.

Not really, I find the ones that would be considered "cringe worthy" to be funny! Occasionally I'll run across a post of mine that makes me cringe, but the majority of posts I've made in the past don't make me cringe, at least not the ones dating back to 2018.

Yes, massively. I always get embarrassed whenever I see a notification about somepony reacting to an old post that I either no longer agree with myself on or is badly worded.

I used to be so nervous when I was starting out and I think it shows. :coco:

I feel guilty. :ButtercupLaugh:

I only feel sometimes weird about what I wrote. I still agree with most of it and it usually makes me smile or giggle. :coco: And I can definitely see that my english skills improved a little bit. :)

No, I have always loved myself, to be honest. Almost with an obsession. But what do you expect from an orphaned child like myself? I lost everything I loved, and now I am locked inside this playground of the gods, with human beings, no less. These people are two chromosomes short from monkeys. Yeah, monkeys!

I do not really deserve this punishment. Yes, I did some questionable things in the past. But who could resist after seeing some of these earthly delights? Screw it. I do not care anymore. That is the good thing. That I never did. So, there is no pretence on my part. I am always myself, for good or for bad. How awesome is that? But if you are putting on a character all the time. I can understand the shame, then. Because you are cringing at a less sophisticated version of the character you call your "personality". A little rougher here and there, letting see past through you, and what you really want to hide from the world. But do not worry. I am always here to bring your shame out. Make a dent on the mask people like to wear in front of others, so these little animals can play pretend. And if there is something I hate with my entire being in this "divine" comedy; then that is pretence.

I know human beings very well. And no metter how collected they want to appear in public. A look of my candid eyes is enough to force them to look down in shame, as if they were naked in front of me. Because for a creator being playing mortal, human beings are the most predictable animals on existence.

It doesn't matter. I miss my sister. All I need in the world, is my sister and a bed.

It’s quite interesting looking at posts I made a year or two ago and seeing that nothings changed lol

Very little. I mean there are a few there because I wanted to rp immediately while getting on site to use my character before I lost interest in using her. But I've somewhat kept the same mind I had back in HS. I think a lot before I post usually. :eager:
