I know one of the very first people I became a fan of on Youtube was The Amazing Atheist; TJ Kirk. Still subscribed to him to this day. I discovered his channel back in 2008 or perhaps even earlier. Obviously there are people that despise him but I am glad that he is still around. He's always been a voice for someone like me in different regards.

I believe you mean like as a fan rather actually I would think it was a nerf youtuber called uin13 haha. So I mean I did watch other youtubers of course but his channel was like first channel I would actually be a fan of as such.

I don’t know what would qualify as a YouTuber… I was loyal to a lot of episodic viral videos, but I don’t think I focused much on the creators until a few years ago.

Most of the people I’m subscribed to make fan made music, and I don’t know who I first watched there either. 
 

I’ll say the first YouTuber that I actually keep up with that isn’t music related is crazyrussianhacker. 
 

The first YouTube video I ever watched was Charlie the Unicorn.

The first one I remember watching is Smosh. This was way back during their glory days, around 2012. One of my friends showed me a few of their videos in middle school, and I started watching them all the time.

Wiiriketopray (now WiiLiketoPlay) back in 2012 is the first channel I remember watching regularly. 

Looks like they’re still around, but it’s only 2 of the 4 guys now.

i think this was the first original youtube video i ever watched, back in the ancient times of 2013 or 2014. believe it or not, i actually found it somewhat entertaining, but, in my defence, i was, like, eight years old, so i hadn't developed actual taste yet

i didn't actually become a fan of any youtubers until probably a few months later when i discovered smosh (who were actually really funny. i still watch their old videos sometimes)

The first one I really watched was fleskhjerta. I think that was his name anyway. He did super Mario 64 bloopers, and they cracked me up back in 2007. I fell off after a while. He did nothing wrong to make me stop watching. They just didn’t hold the same appeal anymore.
