Removing One of the Mane 6?

And even though Twi is my favorite, it would be interesting seeing the show without her.

Rarity because:

Without Fluttershy all the animals would die because they arent used to taking care of themselves

without Applejack ponyville would starve because alot of them practically live off of her apples

without Pinkie Pie everypony would get depressed and commit mass suicide

without Twilight's magic the monsters that regularly attack ponyville would kill everyone

without Rainbow Dash the show wouldnt be awesome enough and nobody would watch it.

without rarity nobody would have anything to wear. except that they dont usually wear anything anyways. Its kind of the obvious choice, if rarity dies then a couple people lose a few shirts, if anyone else dies the whole town gets slaughtered.

...she seems like the least flawed and most developed character of the mane cast. No, I'm serious. She's too developed, and therefore since we've already done episodes based on her flaws (Applebuck Season and Last Roundup, but even Last Roundup focused on the mane cast more than her) she has very little to bring to the new episode table compared to say, Twilight, Rainbow or Rarity. Unless it's an episode with another pony staring in it, she goes crazy (which would be very unbelievable) or we expand upon her backstory, her character is pretty much ringed dry at this moment.

 

I still want an Applejack song though.

 

Why does everyone hate Rarity? Even if you don't like her (???), her episodes are the most varied and her personality and moments are entertaining. If she left the show, the show would feel very different.

I know, right? I agree completely.

 

Hasbro, I think, is basically dumping her, making her only speak lines, and then just shuts up. Two episodes based on her, congratulations. I don't think she's too developed, not at all, but the room of character development that Hasbro gives to AJ is very little. We already saw her character flaws fixed in Episode four, Season one. All the character development is over by that point.

 

What bothers me is that Fluttershy has so many episodes based on her shyness and weakness, and yet she never learns the lesson and basically just goes over it in all her episodes, over and over again. Fluttershy has so many based on shyness, why can't AJ have "so many" based on her stubbornness?

 

Same goes for other characters, too; they have so many episodes based on their weak points, and yet, they never learn their lesson. So they keep on getting more episodes on that particular weak point, and... never learn the lesson. Applejack is the only one to, and thus gets no more episodes because of that.

 

Anyway, I agree with you, Rarity deserves better; she has so many funny moments and she shouldn't be disliked simply because she's girly. I think all the hate is because of Sonic Rainboom... and yet nopony pays attention to the fact that at the beginning, Rarity wanted to support Dash the most.

 

I think this is basically a least favorite pony poll.

Now, I like all ponies in the mane six. So don't get me wrong on this one.

 

But the pony I like least of the mane 6 is Rainbow Dash,

Though, I would not remove her from the show since 1. She has 9001 fans and 2. Meme stuff are made about her 3. It's Rainbow Dash, I mean come on she is iconic. 4. She got a bunch of good episodes.

 

Sooo, because of that I have to say Rarity.

I'd say either Rarity or Rainbow Dash. I could see either of them leaving the mane 6 once they finished their character arcs.

 

Of course if that actually happened(or any of the mane 6 leaving for that matter), I'd probably drop the show all together(especially if they replace them with someone bogus)

I can't believe I'm saying this but if I wanted to remove one of the Mane 6, it would have to be Fluttershy. I'm not saying that I hate her but, it would be a shame to lose another adorable character. But, I don't really see much in her.
