This is something that i would do depending on the situation. If i could never return, i wouldn't go. If i could come home again, i sure would. But then there's the worry of whether you would be a human or a pony. So really it depends on the circumstances. :P

I wouldn't go to Equestria even for a day (I'd get distracted from the real world). Cripes, there's so much stuff to do here. Ha, actually the more I think about my life is like an adventure novel. Man, I've undergone so many personal experiences that have helped shape me into who I am today, and I still have so many questions in this world that are (currently) unanswered. I still have the wonderful opportunity to live life the way I want to. I don't want to devote myself to focusing purely on one talent. We've all been gifted to walk this earth, and we can't just restart all the progress we've made so far. Sure, our planet is nothing special (other than the fact that it can support life, of course) but we are. It would sicken me to see someone abandon ship just because things weren't going their way. It's basically committing suicide. Instead of complaining about the current state of the world, fix it. We have a large enough community to make others realize we exist. I don't agree entirely with pony ideals, (i.e. love and tolerate) but the morality behind them is just and, however dull they might be, could prove beneficial in fixing our "mess". You don't have to act as though the guy on your right is the soldier you've gone into battle with on countless occasions, but acknowledge that he's allowed to be whatever the hell he wants to be... None of what I wrote above even relates to itself. Gah, whatever.

I'm a pessimist. Ponies are too optimistic for me. I like this screwed up world; I'm a screwed up guy.

Now, everyone who chose to go to Equestria, get your heads out of the clouds and get back to reality - you're on this planet for a reason. True, I might not care what any of you have to say, but that doesn't mean others share the same view.

Do something worthwhile to make this place more like... Equestria. (I'll do my part to help this world, but not to make it more like Equestria - if you stayed in Equestria you'd get bored. It's human nature to want to stir things up a bit ;3)... (Me no wanna be pony.)

... If ever I see an Equestrian transport box, I'll give it to some homeless guy.

I would go mainly because I really have nothing holding me back where I live now, I mean I do have my family but I get along better with my parents then I do brothers and sisters and I would dearly love to move to Equestia and start a new life. It would be amazing, yes I would miss my family but they'd understand I hope lol. At least I won't be dead.

I would choose to be a pegasus and probably live with Rainbow Dash, she's awesome and she could teach me her awesome flying skills. I mean, to me thats a win-win situation!!

So yes I would open the box just to get away from this messed up world ^^

I would go. My life on earth is is bad. I go around and am treated like nothing. In Equestria, there is nothing to really worry about. I love my family but it's worth it. So very worth it

I would like to be able to say no. I would love more than anything to have the ability and luxury to say that my life is satisfying enough to refuse an invitation such as that, but It's not.

I live fairly well of too. I live in a reasonable house in a fairly calm neighborhood. I have most of the things I need to get by comfortably in life. I have no reason to leave that would e acceptable by other people's standards. But when I compare my current life to a life in Equestria, my life seems like nothing but ennui and disappointment.

I understand that my life is much more than disappointing, but lassitude is a lot more common to me than it should be. I wouldn't say I'm depressed. In fact, I'm quite happy with my life. Just a little unimpressed, and I'm sure others feel the same way, or at least similar enough to answer in the way that they will.

So in other words, yes. Yes, would go be a Pegasus in Equestria!

I chose yes, but now that I think about it I'm not so sure I would take the opportunity in a heartbeat. I would have to do a lot of thinking about it. I could go to Equestria and essentially live the "perfect" life. However, I'm not sure I would abandon this world just because I don't like it. I think regrets would accompany each choice.

I would not because I already have so much invested in this life and this world, not to mention how much I try to make this world better.

It kind of makes me sad to know that so many would be so willingly to leave since these people are the ones who stand for love and tolerance, which we need more of here on Earth.

I don't know could I just leave my family and friends, they wouldn't want me to go. Then again I don't know could I decline an opportunity like this...

Going there would mean that I wouldn't have to worry about the future, but since I don't really worry about it anyways, it wouldn't really affect the decision. If I had time to tell everyone, then definitely, but the rules won't allow that :).

Whatever I would choose, I would probably be sad for a while after. It feels sad to say this, but I guess I would take the portal: with ponies cheering me up, I wouldn't be as sad as when declining a life in Equestria. I would hate myself for leaving like that and leaving everything behind, but I guess I would get over it with time.

If it were possible, I'd totally do it, considering Equestria is way cooler than real life. XD

I'm fairly certain that there'd be some way to change a human to a pony with Equestrian magic, because haven't we seen magic change forms of creatures before? Correct me if I'm wrong :U

Heck no, I wouldn't go.

I'd miss my friends and family, and there are scary monsters there that can turn you to stone. And dragons that would eat you.

Plus, not everybody in Equestria is nice. There are still some people there who are jerks.

The abundance of cupcakes would be nice, though ... but I guess I'll have to settle for having cupcakes here.
