Lauren Faust, I believe, betrayed us (perhaps that's a little too harsh of a word, I know, but I couldn't find a better synonym) by abandoning the show which we loved and supported her for. She doesn't seem to care much about the show anymore. She even admitted at her panel at Equestria LA that she doesn't watch the new episodes. I know I'm being a jerk by talking about her like this, but I'm tired of people giving her overwhelming amounts of praise, even after she left the show.

 

I don't think you're being a jerk at all. You're bringing up a tragic reality that we need to come to terms with.

I love Russia and Eastern Europe too.   But not the Soviet Union, which was basically 70+ years of hell on earth. I support Tsarist Russia, when it was ruled by the House Of Romanov: ...men like Nicholas II and Aleskandr III.

Yes, but as much as it was "Hell on Earth" as you put it, the Soviet Union did a lot not only for Russia, but for the world as well.

-Living improved for many under communist rule when compared to the Czar's 

-Defeated the Nazis ( Many, myself included, believe that they could have alone).

-Started "Space Race" with Sputnik,( We owe much technology we have today due to technology developed during it)

-Other technology to emerge from the Soviet Union(Sloped Armor concept,Active Protection System, many of the first computers were developed in the USSR)

-Democracy at the end of the cold war.

Why yes it is much better, I'm not a huge fan of MLP (I still do like it, but just probably not as much as most of the people here), though I do love hanging out in the fandom more than the show itself.

She ditched us would of been a better choice of word than betray us. She didn't really betray she just said "fuck it I'm leaving" and ditched everything about MLP.

Western states in the US (ex, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah,etc) are better than eastern states. 
 
California is not a good state to live in, nor is Illinois.
 
People who keep saying buy American rustle my jimmies, especially when it comes to cars, my dad has a Toyota, and it was honestly better than the piece of crap car he had last time.
 
HP and Dell are horrible computer companies, same with Alienware, the apple of gaming computers.
 
Instagram and Facebook can go die.

I have not played any of the games along the lines of, such as Sonic, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Call of Duty, Halo, or any other games like that.
 
Most anime today is just focused on characters with big boobs.
 
I have tried to read Mangas and seem to not get the hang of it.

- We owe a lot more of scientific advancements to nazis than people like to admit, mostly because the subjects on which their theories were tested were Jews and other prosecuted people during WWII.

- Steve Jobs is a dick. Yet thousands of people still worship him like a god. All he did during his life was take technological inventions like the computer and smartphone, and make it sell, by creating artificial demand and raising the prices. Thankfully for Apple the artificial demand transformed into actual demand, and they can keep selling crappy devices at ridiculous prices.

- The reason why companies haven't massively switched to Linux yet is because they fear the change in the ideological conception of computers in people's minds, which is essentially communist. (And we all know communism is bad)

 

-The day capitalism will die is the day the entropy of the universe destroys us all for good.

 

- Breast cancer awareness, while being a wonderful cause at first, has become a worldwide money-sucking scam. Plus, no money raised from any cancer awareness event went to cancer prevention, ever. Pharmaceutical companies need to SELL a cure, and preventing cancer would be detrimental to their success.

- Lithium Carbonate pills produced by the pharmaceutical companies are useless, or placebos. They rely on the mind thinking your disorder is under control, and make you believe you are not bipolar/schizophrenic while symptoms still appear like they did before. You just no longer associate them to your mental disorder.

 

- The day people stop using "Because this is how the world works" as a reason is the day we will actually get things to change. This keeps up from evolving as a society and as people.

- Age is not authority. The fact you're older than somebody does not give you any right to disregard their opinion as stupid because "Hey, you're just a kid". Doing this does not make you win an argument, it means you are a dick.

I'm honestly stunned that this is unpopular, and I'm not sure if it's really an opinion since it's partially a factual statement about my own experience, but here goes (I really want to get this off my chest):

The motion controls in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword are perfectly fine.  I am on my second run through the game, there are times when I am actively trying to get the game to read my motions incorrectly and failing.  The only gesture that ever gives me even the slightest bit of trouble is stabbing, which seems to be read as a short swing about 20% of the time (so 1 in every 5 attempts at a stab gives me a swing instead).

Yet...so many people seem hellbent on complaining that the game's motion detection is dysfunctional.  This has frustrated me to the point that I actually have a capture card ordered and intend to use it in combination with my digital camera to get footage of myself playing the game, and gameplay footage side-by-side so I can have a video demonstrating the accuracy of the controls.

Granted I wanted a capture card anyway and was probably going to get one even if this wasn't a thing.

 

That said, I have noticed less reliable responsiveness from a newer Wii U branded remote than from the gold Wii remote that came with the game.

You would be suprized. I have met a LOT of people who would say the opposite of all of it, especially RD being best pony (no matter how obvious that she is). But to each their own. I just think EVERYTHING is flawed, but that's what keeps me sane, flaws make us who we are.

• MLP Season 3 is my favourite season so far.

Phineas and Ferb is horrible. I've really yet to see the appeal in it. It just seems like a stereotypical mundane kids show.

I like Fish Hooks. I don't know why, I guess it's just a guilty pleasure.

I like the idea of Twilight becoming an Alicorn. It can put a huge spin on the show and give the writers much more creative ideas. Please be permanent.

• Dubstep is a wonderful genre of music. If people realized that it has a greater history beyond Skrillex ruining the electronic music industry, and didn't count him and his countless clones as being part of dubstep (which they aren't), it would be much less bashed.
• I don't see what's so good about Dream Theater, The Shins, or even The Beatles. They aren't bad bands by any means, but they're by no means the greatest of all time either.
• I like many of the new shows on Cartoon Network (Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, Chowder) a lot more than some of the 90's classics (Ed, Edd n Eddy is still my bby tho).
• Tim Burton's Batman movies are much better than the Christopher Nolan ones. Nolan's movies just seem too real and not comic-booky enough; in addition, both the Tumbler and the Bat were overkill replacements for the Batmobile, and also... Christian Bale's Batman voice kind of speaks for itself. Heath Ledger's Joker was spectacular, but that didn't save the trilogy from ultimately falling flat to Burton's duology.
• I'm pro-choice.
• I don't trust many of my peers with the future of this planet (at least here in the States).
• Android > iOS
• I wish everyone would shut up with all this "still better than Justin Bieber (or any other artist that it's cool to hate on)" crap. I don't enjoy them either, but it's not like Nicki Minaj and One Direction and all the rest of the groups and artists at the subject of these memes are SUPPOSED to be musical geniuses. They're entertainers first, musicians second or third.
• Same goes for "swag." No one really uses "swag" in a non-ironic fashion anyway, and your implications of the opposite don't help things very much.

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are my favorites lol xP
