The east coast of the United States is having it's second heatwave of the summer. It's going up to 91 F today in New Jersey, and very humid.. As always with this kind of weather, a good chance of pop-up thunderstorms.

Still baking hot. Really getting on everyone's nerves now. Just returned from a short abortive excursion into Scottish Borders in search of cooler climate, not much, and quite a bit of rain. But not very different.

To be fair looks like might be cooling down next week or so.

It's been rather hot again, which means that maybe I'll go swimming again soon.  There's been some strong-ish wind too, but it doesn't actually help much with the heat as it just moves the warm air around and doesn't feel too refreshing.

I have a really heavy Thunderstorm here in western germany. Heavy rain, heavy wind and a lot of lightnings. But the good thing is, it is so nice cool (19°C) and we finally got rain. ^^
