Hi, @Wolf-Boy. There was an older topic in existence designed for the purpose of sharing songs that have made you cry, so I have merged yours into it.

Please make sure to run a search before posting a new topic to make sure that the topic you want to post does not already exist. Thank you.

I lost a good friend a couple years back.  A horse named Strawberry.  We were very close.  I picture her every time I hear the chorus of this song.  I've never been able to get through it without tearing up.

And this, one of the most beautiful songs ever written, often gets me too.

A few others on my list:

-Cast Away theme

-Zanarkand from FFX (super sad song, doesn't really make me tear up, though)

-Life & Death from Lost

-Twilight's "I've Got to Find a Way."  (May be a little on the nose here, but it really does make me misty eyed.  So many feels.)

Depending on how i'm feeling, this sometimes upsets me to tears.

Same with this one...

Add this song to anything even remotely sad, and I end up crying like a small school child. Still a beautiful piece though.

I have to agree with this, I've cried so many times thanks to this...

It used to just be a pretty piece that I'd listen to, but recently my mom told me that it was my grandma's favorite piece, and now, all of the sudden, it's sad and makes me cry.

It's not the only piece, though... Since she has passed away, a lot of classical music now makes me feel sad. It was really because of her that I got into it. It was because of her that I got into my instrument, too. They both happened at the same time.

I have plenty of such tracks, since I like instrumental music. But this one is very special to me (besides the fact that entire OST to “Spirit” is undeniably, unquestionably cool). It reminds me about a place in another country I’m hankerin’ for call a home someday, how far away I am from it yet, and how many things I have to do for that.

Seems like I simply forgot how wonderful Spirit OST was. I just stumbled upon it by chance. This music as nice as the end of good story. And it gives me a hope that someday everything will be so good we can hardly believe it. And we will just smile and gallop chasing down the sunset. :)

I don't cry when I listen to songs, but Final Fantasy X was a sad ending.

This song is "Suteki Da Ne (Orchestral Version)". It's kind of a depressing love song.

The Pokemon movie, Jirachi Wish Maker, made me cry, and it has one of the most beautiful songs

@Sekhayet, hiya :). Just letting you know that since there was an older thread for sharing songs that make us cry, I've merged yours with the older one to keep the discussion in the same place. Kept your title though, because it's better than the old one :)

I don't cry too much because of music, but this one has wrung a few tears out of me in one of my more thoughtful and lower points.

The picture at 0:40 gets me the most. That poor kid.

To fallen soldiers let us sing;

Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing.

Our broken brothers, let us bring

To the mansions of the Lord.

No more bleeding; no more fight.

No prayers pleading through the night;

Just divine embrace--eternal light,

In the mansions of the Lord.

Where no mothers cry and no children weep,

We will stand and guard though the angels sleep.

All through the ages safely keep

The mansions of the Lord.

Loleatta Holloway- Love Sensation (Hi Tak remix 06)

It’s weird how this one makes me cry, it’s not about anything sad: it’s an up tempo dance record.

The original 1980s version doesn’t make me cry, the various acapella sampling versions such as Black Box- Ride on time (favourite House record ever) and Markie Mark- Good Vibrations don’t make me cry either.

This remix also uses the acapella and drops the original music for something more House/EDM:

And it’s when it drops into the chorus of vocals singing “Love Sensation” with the beat and all the (none literal) bells and whistles at 3:58 in attached video I find it really moves me, I feel happy but it makes me cry and feel emotional, I was just listening to it and couldn't hold back a few tears :)

Another one is the very forceful song (as well as the movie) “They’ll Remember You” from Valkyrie OST. Actually it’s “Wanderer Nachtlied Part 2”- song written by Goethe, in new stylish interpretation. Just close your eyes and remember about somepony, whom is no more.

P.S. Look at the nick of poster of this video on YouTube. ;)
