Well If you are your not the only one my Bronies and Pegasisters.

well, my situation is kinda horrible.

- I'm 15 and in a highschool where the term "Bronie" is not the first thing they would welcome

- I play football and lacrosse so they might think "why is he watching a little girl's show?

- I was kinda bullied not till 2 years ago because of my said......... "likes" such as anime and some classical music (they thought it was wierd seeing a black kid in 8th grade liking that stuff)

Though if there ever was a way to tell them, I probably will wait for the day my class is assigned a project on our favorite show..... like everyone else on youtube dose >_>.

Ok I've Talked enough now.

Now it's your turn >:D

There is no way I would mention it at my school I'm on my senior year, played top tier rugby for my school too. I kinda got a reputation to keep. Everyone knows I'm a geek for anime and stuff but idk, I think MLP would really drain me. Love the show, I even rock my MLP shirt and my witty show references around (Only cause they have no idea about the show let alone seen it) So it's all good. I actually interpret it into my own form of swag and it works out fine. People think I do it ironically though :/

Well in all honesty, I don't think whatever you entertain yourself with always has to be everyone's business- while I don't really care much if anyone knows or finds out I'm a brony(I'm far from 'closet,' I honestly strongly dislike that term though), there are indeed just some people that I'd rather not outwardly tell about it.

I won't say "closet" because I absolutely despise the word "closet" being used for Bronies. Seriously, it vexes me to no end. The term, "closet", is used for people who have not yet disclosed their sexual orientation.

So I'll use a different term.

Most everyone that knows me knows I'm a fan of My little Pony. And they don't care at all. It actually seems like they respect the fact that I'm willing to tell the truth. Pretty much the most popular guy at school once said to me, "You watch My Little Pony? That's sick." I post ponies of facebook on special occasions, and all the times I have they liked it.

I don't know about you guys, but telling people I'm a Brony made things better.

.....or maybe they just don't want to irk a guy that's 6,1....

I keep my Bronyism to myself when around my #1 best friend in my enitre childhood, though he knows I'm a fan of Ponies, he doesn't know I'm a fan of the show. I've even showed him the .MOV series in 2011, and he loves those and fan-made comedic videos.

I am completely open about bieng a Brony, but I don't go around blurting it out, I'l just go on and tell someone whatever they want to know if they ask. I do try to keep the alert levels low though, it's not something you would want to be as a first impression on somebody.

Before I came to school this year back in like september, I posted on my facebook wall that I was a brony and that if they didn't like it that was there problem... And then I wore all my brony merch on one day... Like A Faust!

So yeah I'm pretty open about it, Though sometimes I'm too afraid to wear my shirt to school... I'm too fluttershy sometimes...

Sorry for all the .........

I used to walk around Highscool blaring country music, so even if I was still a student I wouldn't care. Of course everyone seemed to like me for some reason.

I'm nearly the same height, but that doesn't change the fact that people here aren't as accepting as you are. On the contrary, it seems like I'm discriminated against and made fun of for the fact I like the show. Heck, even my best friends were negative about it, saying we're all "immature fags" (to be honest, though there is so much irony in that statement it's actually funny.) Telling people I'm a brony had the opposite effect for me, instead of making things better, it seemed to make things worse.

But no, I'm not a "closet brony" (which like a lot of people here, I hate the term). I used to be, but I'm not anymore.

All my friends know I'm a fan of the show, which... Isn't much. Like I actually have a friend who isn't a brony, but he knows about the meme's, me and him have brohoofed before actually. xD And then there's this girl I know, she drew me a filly Rainbow Dash.

Very sorry about those ignorant people at your school. :(

I'm fairly open about it. I'll tell people I like, and I'll subtly make references to ponies. Humming the theme song, drawing cutie marks, using phrases such as 20% cooler, etc.

I have a defence mechanism of sorts by existing behind a persona to hide my outward shyness. In other words, better I know you, the better you know me. My love for this show isn't exactly highly classified information though; heck, sneaking a peak at my phone's wallpaper pretty much gives it away. Plus, a friend and I quote the show quite often if the right circumstance arrives (especially derpy's "I just don't know what went wrong!".)

I'm not a closet Brony by any means, but that also doesn't mean that I just wear a MLP shirt every day and then force feed my Brony personality down everybody's throats, lol. That's sure to get me brutally beaten up. :P

Like I've said thousands of times before, you are who you are. Only you can make decisions for yourself. If someone doesn't like it, well, that's tough!

I haven't advertised it or thrown it in anyone's face, partially because I believe that's part of what gives us a bad name. I have enough confidence in my friends to think that they won't really care. Either way when I get my rainbow dash shirt that I'm ordering it won't be much of a secret

Eh, I have only told the people I trust, so I'm sort of "half-closet brony" . My closest family and a few friends know. Other than that, no one else does...and it may never be know. Who knows. Maybe I'll get a chance and the situation wouldn't be so "Awkward..." Spike style :D .

There's no reason to tell anyone, but if they ask I usually say "It's a good show and I enjoy it".

Yet to get teased, but have had people agree with me so that's good.

I'm no way a closet brony.

In my school, you're barley judge.

You could be gay, you could be blah.

There' the nerds, fandoms (few bronies and homestuck, etc) and hipsters.

I think everybody knows I'm a brony.

I have a Derpy Hooves Messenger bag where I put all my stuff in

I'm pretty open about my being a brony. Ive always been the computer geek of my graduating class, and this really came as no surprise, I guess. :P

I don't parade around all "IM A BRONY, LOVE AND TOLERATE ME," but it's pretty obvious I like the show. Example, I'm one of the few people that take a laptop to school every day. Peoples eyes tend to gravitate towards me.

I meet them with this:

Meh, needs more pony, I think. ;)

I don't hide it but I also don't mention it when there's no reason to. I find that doing so can annoy my friends. They all know I'm a brony (cuz some of them are bronies themselves) and accept me for it. Though if I meet a new friend I usually let them know other stuff about me first, as being a brony is only part of what defines me and I don't want to be judged solely on that basis.
