What kind of brony or pegasister are you?

I would rate myself as somewhere between rabid brony and regular brony, as I don't actively try to spread the fandom. I think the reason why I didn't choose fan was because I never get tired of the show. This is the first inbetween season wait I had, since I joined the herd when a few 2nd season episodes were aired. Although its been months without a new episode, I still rewatch episodes on my spare time. I have rewatched every single episodes except for the one on baby cakes, the one with the crankey donkey, and the one which Big Mac falls in love with Cherilee(because those are pretty bad episodes in my opinion.) When episode 25-26 season finale of season 2 aired, I watched the two episodes 5 times each on that day (that's because like every other episode I download a good HD video off youtube and put it on my computer/external harddrive/itouch/phone.) Oh boy the good times :) Edited by Flutterspace

Neither. I am not any of those. I have other loyalties that'll always come first. I don't by any merch because I am flat broke. Same for meet ups. Besides I've never found anybody outside the net who is intrested in the show anyway.

Well, let's see.

Hand drawn and colored pictures of the mane 6 on my binders, all episodes downloaded, I now listen to pony music more than metal, and I've got 8 pony figures staring at me as I type this, as well as in the process of making a pony tulpa. (A sentient hallucination)

I think I'm a little rabid. (just a little. I don't bring it up in conversation much, and I don't drop references everywhere.) Never been to a meetup though. =(

I can't describe me i like the show but like the fan fics and fan music more than the actual show i do like it but not as much as stuff the fans make and only some off my "friends" know I am a brony, And I really don't buy any merchandise and don't really take offense when someone calls a brony gay cause its there own opinion and they have a right to it even if they don't say it in the nicest way so I really don't now what to call my self.

I'd say I'm am a mix of a regular and a rabid brony, with a slightly heavier emphasis on rabid. I mean, I don't care about people calling ponies or bronies gay or whatever. I think it's dumb, but I feel like no one really takes dumb things people say except for other people who say dumb things? Or something like that.

But I check Equestria Daily several times day, pay attention to the Facebook group for bronies in my state I joined up with, post here, write about ponies sometimes, etc. I...also post pony stuff to my Facebook wall, which I am sure drives people crazy since I tend to do it a lot?

Anyway, yeah, I'm probably a mix of rabid and regular, with a slightly heavier emphasis on rabid, like I said.

I am somewhere between fan and regular brony, I am hooked on the show and just as hooked on the fanart and fanfics but I haven't really been to any meetups yet though I am open to the idea. I am not really too much into toy collecting in general so I don't really have any and though a discord shirt would be pretty cool since I am 4X in shirts it can unfortunately often be fairly difficult to find shirts like that in my size. I guess that is just another incentive for me to get back to my weightlifting along with some cardio and maybe cutting back on the sweets.

  • 1 year later...

I'm a closet brony, because I can't afford to be found out at this age. When I'm out of High School, I'll probably become a bit more open.

Regular brony pegasister. I love the show with every inch of my heart and soul, but I would never try to force someone else into liking it, especially if I knew they weren't comfortable with it. I have gotten my brothers to watch some episodes, and while they don't have anything against the show, they're not bronies. I have bought some merchandise, albeit very little. I'm waiting on Hasbro to up the quality on their products, because what's available on the market now doesn't usually appeal to me. I have never attended a brony convention, but I plan to one day if the time and place is right. :)

I'm a closet Brony but its not that i'm afraid to tell anyone its just i don't feel like i need to but occasionally while talking to friends i throw in a couple of Pinkie Pie quotes which normally crack them up but if any of them straight up said are you a brony i would reply with hell yeah i am, i don't own any merchandise but i love the show as much as any other brony.

Well my exact description isn't really up there so; I am a fan of the show and I will watch it forever and ever, I won't buy a bunch of merchandise because that just isn't my thing and I won't try to spread the 'magic' everywhere I go. Anti bronies do annoy me because they're ignorant and irritating, but yeah. ^^

I am the kind of fan who enjoys the show and episodes a lot. Appreciates the artwork and shirts people have made towards the fandom. Yet at the same time does not take the show to seriously... you'd never catch me in the girls isle of a shopping center trying to buy toys (just not my thing) as some bronies do. I'd say i am a pretty loose and casual fan.

i would say somewhere between rabid and regular. Rabid on the love of the show and that I get offended when people call it stupid, but I've never had the chance to go to a meetup and I can't afford much merch but I try. My friend and I love love LOVE it and we go crazy all the time. I call her Pinkie Pie and she calls me Rainbow Dash (never call eachother by our real names). So other than meetups and merch I would say rabid  :yay:

Between "Rabid" and "Regular"

I'm very rabid about certain aspects of the show, and I've gotten quite a collection of merch, and I was writing a fanfic...I really should get back to that sooner or later :D I'm on a weekly podcast, I've unlocked all of the mane 6 in the mobile game, and post about it in my instagram, twitter, and facebook occasionally.

However, I don't go around using any terms from the show in my daily speak, and I don't go around talking about it whenever there's no use for it. I don't try to make any of my friends watch the show, or "convert" them, unless they ask.

Also, believe it or not, I don't go around trying to force my opinions on the show on everyone. I will state them, and I will be open to change, but I'll also stand by them. I'm a HUGE Rarity fan, but do you have to be to be my friend? No. Would I think less of you for not being one? No. Would I think it was cool if you were one? Yes. But really, would it matter too much? No.

I get the feel people think I'm like that. Should pay a little attention to what I say sometimes.

I am a pegasister who has watched every single episode of the show at least twice, some even 10 times or so. And yeah, I am very much into the show. I love being part of online community, talking to people who have similar interests to mine - about anything we commonly like actually, so ponies too.

But in real life... I have a pony pulshie, one pony notebook, and... that could practically be it. Not that I don't one more merchandise, it's just that where I live it's really hard to find it, since there are not so many bronies in here, and I really have more important things to buy than pay so much on pony merchandise.

I did make one friend of my like the show, I made another one watch a few episodes, and with the latter and the other girl I watched the entire series once. But that's pretty much it, I'm not one of those who would go and scream: WATCH MLPPP, and I understand why some people don't want to give it a try.

I guess I'm somewhat between fan and regular brony then.
