I was wearing my brony t-shirt when suddenly one of my classmates said:"You are terrible! How can you masturbate to pictures of ponies?!". I had to explain that brony != clopper.

 

Wow, that's just terrible. I would have been infuriated if someone up and did that towards me out of nowhere.

Nothing special. I simply told him that I only watch the show and characters don't attract me in a sexual way. I don't know whether he believed me or not, but who cares?

Really, it gets awkward every time my sister mentions me liking MLP in front of my parents. It's just like, *sister mentions my liking MLP*, then there's this silence for about 5 seconds. Each time.

I was happily watching an episode on the computer with my headphones on, lights out, full screen and all. Huge mistake though: I left my door open.

 

My mom walked in the room probably five or ten minutes before I noticed her. She just stood there behind me, silent, watching the episode with me. I had an heart attack when I turned - I slammed my computer screen down in panic and shouted "What are you doing?!?".

 

She just stared at me for a second and then asked: "You like ponies?" I replied: "What if?!" (I was completely startled) Then she left. The next day I had to explain everything.

 

Definitely nothing very interesting, but oh well. :|

Just a few moments ago, I finally told my friend and got him to watch the show with me. He really into "guy stuff" Hunting, guns, working on trucks, ect. So I wasn't expecting him to like it. I had a moment similar like that with my dad, He walked in while I was watching a youtube video of MLP. I knew he was looking over my shoulder, but I wanted to play it cool, so I didn't make it look like I noticed him (when, in reality, I was thinking "oh jeez, what is he gonna say?")

 

Then he says "....my little pony?", and I reply with "uh...yeah....it's a parody," and after a moment he walks away. Yeah, it was fairly awkward.

 

sometime later I explain that I did like the show, but only to avoid future awkward moments (you know, get it out in the open so that it's not a surprise next time).

Probably the first time I had a full party on Xbox Live with a bunch of bronies. Our ages ranged from 14 years old to 36 years old. We had high schoolers, college students, a police officer, a small business owner, and a chemical engineer. After 4 hours of Battlefield 3, I thought to myself and told the group "If you think about it, this is weird as hell. Grown men with families and jobs talking to teens still in school about My Little Ponies. I love you guys, but isn't that pretty freaking weird?"

 

Basically the first time I realized I was connecting to people of all ages and walks of life over a cartoon for little girls.

Weirdest brony moment was at a collage fair it was packed full of people and while walking around I accidently bump into another person I apologize and I walked back towards my friends than I notice that the person I bumped into is wearing a Rainbow Dash t shirt so I go back to the guy and I say "Hey! Nice Shirt!" He says thanks and we go our separate ways I guess the reason this moment is so weird for me is that was the first time I ever saw and interacted with another brony in public and it was at a collage fair of all places!

Well considering I'm a closet brony.. The weirdest moment isn't really got anything to do with people seeing me watch it.

However it is kinda weird when I have to switch tabs when I'm watching MLP and someone walks in my room.

Also theres the time where I heard someone talking about MLP one time. Of course being a closet brony I didn't say anything about it. I've never heard anyone but her.(Yes not even a brony but a pegasister technically.)

I wouldn't be surprised if i'm the only brony in my school. Not in the state but probably my school..

HAHAHHAA I TOTALLY GOT ONE! Being the complete brony addict i am, I changed my homescreen background to this picture. Anyways while changing clothes in the school locker room for class, my "buddy" thought it would be HILARIOUS to try and unlock my phone. OF COURSE he somehow is able to get through the password: 1-4-3-6..... He sees the pic. and YELLS out : "WOA!! WHY DOES FROST HAVE A PICTURE OF RAINBOW DASH AS A HOMESCREEN BACKGROUND??" I seriously freak the **** out and snatch the iphone from him, trying to recover from the attention by acting like nothing had happened. Of course that doesnt become enough and everyone realizes i am a brony, some even spread it around, saying that "frost is a total brony".... But the surprising part was that i was backed up by fellow bronies! Some of my friends that i had no idea were fans of the show too supported me <3

During physics class, me and my class was doing a lab on projectile motion with marble launchers. One of the groups had the barrel of the launcher facing the wrong way, so I had to pull out a "Rainbow Dash Presents" joke (From Captain Hook and the Biker Gorilla ) , so I kept on saying, "The barrel is backwards".

Well, after saying that about three or four times, I hear some other kid say, "But they're gonna grind us up into rainbows!" (It was another reference from the video). Indeed, it did become very award for me, and basically everybody else in the class, but hey, I made a new brony friend!
