I'd auction it off. Anypony who wants it is gonna have to pay out the plot for it. Or maybe I'll host a round robin style fighting tournament for it. Every pony fights every pony else and most wins earns the right to the ticket. Only those ponies with a bank account exceeding Celestia's life expectancy or the capability of drastically shortening it will get the ticket.

 

And most of the proceeds will go to the local fillies hospital.

I go with my answer from the previous thread about this. I'd give my ticket to Applejack. Out of the six, the reason she wanted to go was to help her family. That's a noble goal that I support one hundred percent. I don't care about dates anyway, so while Applejack gets the second ticket, I would give the first ticket (my ticket) to Twilight Sparkle so that she could visit with her teacher and mentor.

I would take Fluttershy for two reason. - As a date if she wants to. - So she can be happy to make new animal friends at the graden. Also like somepony said I would make sure she doesn't get upset again.

Regardless of whether or not this is supposed to be a "date", I'd take Pinkie Pie. The other members of the mane 6 would all be too busy trying to socialize with others, be it: Princess Celestia; The Wonderbolts; potential customers; handsome stallions; or animals. Pinkie Pie would probably enjoy my company and having someone there with her to have fun, even if nopony else wants to party.

If I had gotten two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala, I would have immediately invited Pinkie Pie.  So I never would have heard every other pony's reasons for wanting to go.  Unlike in the episode, Pinkie would not be by herself if she went with me.  I would stick with her the whole time.  So hopefully we would end up having more fun together than she did by herself.
