People say I have a very punk rock singing voice like Billy Joel. I've been improving my singing to the point where I was cast as a lead singer for a major local show without even auditioning. Unfortunately I didn't perform though because of a cold. Basically yes, I can sing.

Yes, I can.
My voice may not be the best suited for clean pop music, but I'm more than well equipped for rock and roll.
I'm still not sure whether I'm a baritone, or a high baritone, but whatever the case may be, my voice still has this dark timbre, and undertone to it that makes it seem a lot deeper than it actually is. Traditional voice-classifications aren't really applicable to contemporary singers, anyway, so it's not exactly clear where my voice lies at.
It's also relatively clean, and if I wanted to introduce some sort of rasp to it, I'd likely have to force it, which is something I'm not willing to do.
If we're talking cover wise, my vocal range is ideally suited for singing Pearl Jam, and The Doors, and, for better or worse, my vocal style has been compared to Jim Morrison several times.

I used to be able to sing just like Amy Lee (from Evanescence) when I was younger, then I stopped singing all together for 4 years. Now I'm getting back into singing and I'm making my way back to a good level, but I never really got BAD I'm just not as good.

Nope, let us simply say that singing isn't exactly one of my talents... To be fair though, I never sang when I was a kid because I always wanted to be taken seriously. I never took singing lessons or even tried.

Singing is basically my favorite thing to do. The only problem is, I can't seem to find a genre that my voice works with. Its rather boring sounding. I usually sing theatre music, choral music, that kind of stuff. I'm mostly a tenor, but I can do bass If I want to.

 

Basically, I'm a pretty good singer whose voice doesn't fit anywhere and it sucks when I feel like doing a cover of anything because of that. I'll post a song I did, I think my voice works pretty good in that song.

I can sing, but about 30% or so is pretty broken (I can't hit the notes anymore). And also it sounds very cheesy to a point where I should not try singing in public. Too bad because it is so fun singing or just have the voice go completely crazy!

Yes I can. I was in Choir from 8th grade through high school graduation. To this day, i'll sing to my favorites when they are on the radio and when they playing through my headphones when I'm on my phone or computer.

As for whether or not I can sing, I've never had an audience to pass judgement on that. So I have absolutely no idea.
