Why anti-bronies should leave bronies alone

Unique Pinkie Pie

They waste time trying to persuade millions of bronies to stop liking a show at their own will. It's like a war. There will always be war as long as there are differences in the world. Some can't accept it and then they start a group and others follow them just because their leader says so. Lies can be believed by anyone if they follow the leader of the pack. I personally have no hate towards any group, any fandom, any religion, etc. I accept people's differences because there is no way to change someone. People will fight towards what they think is right and thus people retaliate. The simple answer would be to Love And Tolerate like I've heard many times, but if it leads to assault or harassment, please report it so they can be brought to justice.

Here's the thing, most anti-bronies don't hate you for enjoying a little girls' cartoon, they hate you for the way some of you act.

  • Some of you are rabid
  • shove ponies down their throats when they say they're not a fan of your magical horse show
  • some of you don't tag your porn (even though some of you are starting to, thank God)
  • some of you revile at the horror of anything before G4
  • some are misogynistic, homophobic, and try making the show a "man's show" because god forbid men like anything feminine without having to give yourselves a stupid little name like "Bronies".
Honestly, I could write an entire essay here, but those examples are some of you and common in any fandom, it's just more noticeable here.
No fandom is the nicest fandom ever, so really stop putting yourself on a pedestal and stop acting surprised when people hate you for the actions of some.

But yes, hating on any fandom for liking something as harmless as ponies is stupid, it's just not usually their main reasons from what I've seen.

All of your points are indeed valid. But just like any fandom some people will surely make fun of us. Every fandom has problems like that and they always overcome them.

img-1076974-1-Cqum5.jpg

I did find some truth to your logic

1.) Many internet dwellers are bronies, and surely they will dislike anti-bronies.

2.) You are certainly right, being a brony is like being into any other fandom

3.) If you are a hater and make yourself a bad reputation the brony community probably won't accept you, that is true.

4.) Yes, people are entitled to their opinions

5.) I don't think there is evidence to support that most of them will but probably at least a couple of them will.

6.) We don't go out on a tangent of attacking them, so they shouldn't attack us. Makes sense.

7.) True, depending on what exactly their argument is of course.

8.) They should stop it, it's rude and unwarranted,

9.) It is being prejudice.

10.) I hope I do too.

True, but most Anti groups of other fandoms, they don't go around being hypocritical.

Like with how they tell us we are drawing NSFW of a kids show, yet does it themselves.

Or like how we are obsessed with something, but then they're obsessed with us.

Or how about the whole DWM drama, where they told us, to stop harassing Pinkie pony, yet they harassed JJ in the first place.

This is essentially the point that I try to make whenever this topic comes up. Please take a self critical look at yourselves before you automatically dismiss the points that people in opposition of you are making. I know it's difficult not to respond defensively, especially when you feel like you've done nothing wrong, but none of us are completely in the right all the time and instead of making out as if this is a black and white issue, seriously consider what people who go by the label of "bronies" have done.

The problem is when you ask a question like "Why do anti-bronies hate us?" behind these people's backs and then make up your own answers for it, you're refusing to grow and to actually take into consideration the legitimate answers your question can have. Life is a constant WIP, you are a constant WIP, and you can't go outside of your box and improve if you don't let others tell you that you're being an ass sometimes.

Actually, I find all anti- groups can have some members in them that are hypocritical to some capacity, it's just more noticeable with anti-bronies because they're more prevalent a group.

Regardless if they're hypocrites or not, though, it doesn't mean they don't have a point. If I told you that you need to eat three meals a day but I don't eat that much myself, it doesn't somehow invalidate what I just said. You still need to eat three meals a day either way and that's a fact that is indisputable.

Yes, it's wrong that big-names like Pinkie Pony etc. have harassed people but that doesn't make it okay that bronies harassed her and doxxed her like they did.

I don't need a fancy list of reasons why anti-bronies and bronies don't get along.

It comes down to this simple fact:

Anti-bronies just don't understand the brony fandom or bronies in general. They buy into the stereotypes and believe them without doing any sort of research oitside of misconceptions.

When i said this, i meant that most ABes i've met, are either double, trolls, or hypocritical. and i can't really take the majority of them seriously. And about the harassment part. It wasn't really harassment, as it was people, who saw through her BS, and was pretty angry, with what she did (not just about Molestia, but like she said about Micheal) But of course, her being the SJW, and the majority of people being naive, she didn't listen, and played the victim card. And there were a bunch of people who just fellowed her words, like Onision, and his 12 to 15 year old fan girls.

Really all that comes to my mind when reading posts like this is: this is the internet. Everything has haters, and the higher the profile of something the more hate it will receive.

Just ignore the hate and don't be like one of the people from 's post. Those 'fans' are the reason fandoms in general have a bad name. Also, don't feed the trolls by responding. Any reply to their hate feeds them. Ignore them, because you will not win a discussion with a troll.

*being at first not a fan of the fandom due to being an older mare and my special somepony talking about it alot i feel like im a good canadiate for this* bet advice here is....hmm how to say this in a simplified way... like my motto treat other ponies the way you want to be treated, if that pony doesnt like the show it shouldnt be pressured. (trust me on my denial stage having a pony talk about it alot really really annoyed me. though i completely understand the passion and accept it) by bashing them for not  liking the show is just going to make thigns worse and kinda ruin the creed of the very fandom of being loving and accepting. the best way to place hoof on it is to just accept there not into it and talk about a different subject. if a pony is curious they will ask. teasing, making fun of them or doing anything unkind is just as much bullying as them trolling the fandom. in which like all trolls replying to them just fuels the fire (its like feeding a parasprite)  til then though just talk about different things since every pony has different opions and likings to different things. which makes everyone of us unquie and interesting. so as a past denail pony i think its best to put this hoof forward in it all and just if one if friends with a brony/pegesister just accept and watch a different show with them. like sherlock, dr who, reading homestuck, supernatural or whatever other fandom you both interested in and have fun by that :)

I get that we are entitled to our own opinions, but I wish some people had better things to do than to search for pony content online so they can harass us. THEN they complain about how we are the ones harassing them.

Let's be really honest. Anti-Bronies are not going to stop attacking Bronies unless they decide to do so themselves. I wasn't there in 2010-2012 when MLP was being discussed on sites but I think Bronies were posting pony content just to spark the craze. While this helped to get this fandom more well known and also encouraged others to watch it also created a lot of trolls.

I don't know why 4chan was chosen as the first site to discuss MLP:FiM and I don't know why Some people decided to watch the premiere of that show specifically when there were other shows that seemed like they were for girls like Strawberry Shortcake for instance.

1. anti-bronies will wreak there own reputation with the internet   2. being a brony is like being a Trekkie but more into ponies   3. causing trouble than actually watching the show and liking it will cause bronies to not accept them   4. its just a persons opinion so (to anti-bronies) don't go crazy with hating them   5. most of their friends will be bronies so this will cause problems   6. i don't attack them because they dont like it so they shouldn't do it to us    7. (to anti-bronies) some soldiers are bronies so your argument is invalid   8. calling someone gay is like if i called you dumb so they should manly stop it   9. its like being racist (as there are many of us) and they should think twice   10. i hope you agree with some of this unreadable mess

1. That works both ways, assuming I'm interpreting it correctly.

2. That doesn't undo everything wrong with the fandom.

3. Or we could simply not care wether or not people like what we like.

4. First of all, that works both ways. Second, there shouldn't be an unwritten rule where you can't call fans out for their wrongdoings.

5. I'll let that one slide since this post was made back in early 2013.

6. Except you're not every brony.

7. That doesn't prove anything.

8. I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to convey here, but from what I can tell, it's very off topic.

9. Okay, this has to be a joke.

10. Not sure what the number 10 is doing here.

They think we are intolerant to people who don't like My Little Pony. That's not true. We're intolerant to people who think we're cancerous fags who should die. There's a difference between disagreeing and hating. If you don't like MLP, that's fine. Although I'd wonder why you're even here. But if you judge someone for liking it, then that's a problem. Unfortunately, antibronies act as if they are the victims and we're the bad ones. You know... Like homophobes...

Every fandom has cancerous ebola fags who just want to never shutup about how great their show is to people who don't like it. We have these kind of fans do who claim that they are 'loving and tolerating the shit out of you'.

Just keep the show to yourselves.

Finally i read some antibronies sites. Looks like they have two bigger concerns: bronies are perverts, who clopping for ponies or bronies are childish retatds, who waching childern show. Those POV-s tells me all: discuss with them are pointless time waste.

Or, bronies can stop attacking anti-bronies. Due to deviance, you aren't helping yourself being rude to them, it makes them rationalize bronies as being rude and obnoxious.

I swear some bronies attack people who don't like the show more then the other way around.

Or, you know, the anti-bronies can stop attacking bronies, then maybe it wouldn't result in a perpetual loop of douchebaggery from both sides. I know bronies' approach to internet misconduct isn't exactly the friendliest method, but you make it seem like anti-bronies are innocent in this case.

Anecdotal much?
