I thought this moment from the season six premiere was a valiant effort on Rainbow's part:

 

 

And maybe I'm terrible for saying so, but I think it looked cute when she was running with the icicles formed on her.

I couldn't be more pleased with the results; my new drawing tablet allows me to color better and more easily.  I feel dumb for waiting this long to get one.  I'm dumb.

She can seem a little braggish but she will always care for others I mean look at tank its the complete opposite of her personality but they really connect. And the fandom completely loves her. Her loyalty knows no bounds

Ended up buying both the "Winning Kick" and "Zapp" Rainbow Dash figures I talked about in a prior post:

 

The articulated legs made this pose with Tank possible.  His figure looks quite good; I'm glad to have it.  I had one hell of a time getting the hat to stay on (it was apparently important to me), and I didn't bother with the flag or trophy accessories.

Squeezing the wings together make the forelegs "kick," but there's nothing in the accessories pool to kick...  Which doesn't matter because it's a cute figure, overall. x3  Dash-in-a-hat.

 

Rainbow as Zapp.  There were no accessories, and I can't imagine what they would have been if they existed.  An issue of Power Ponies?  Spike?  Spike clinging lovingly to an issue of Power Ponies? xD

I donated to MLPF solely so I could have a larger avatar and sig. x )  I wanted my new ava to be something special (gonna keep the same one for a good long while), so I drew and colored this one myself digitally:

If I'm being honest...  I do think the EQG Minis "Dash" is kinda cute.

Still doesn't begin to compare to pony Dash, obviously.  Pony Rainbow is true Rainbow; I'm a "Dash purest."  Which is...  A term I made up just now, in all likelihood.

 

Relevant to our interests:

I pre-ordered the second Daring Do book from Amazon; looking forward to reading it with Babe.  More accurately: I'm looking forward to hearing her excitedly read it out loud. x3  Not sure when the third one releases, but I'll be getting that one as well.

 

I've promised Babe that the next Rainbow drawing I do will be of her in armor.  Only problem is: I don't know what sort of armor to go with.  If anybody has some suggestions, I'd like to hear them.  Historical or otherwise; doesn't matter.  Though it must be a type of armor sufficiently cool enough to be worthy of being worn by Rainbow.

Been coloring my Rainbow Dash fan art piece from a while back (drew the line art traditionally last month).

I'm not done yet; still need to add a layer of shading.  Was able to digitally correct the error with the top of her mane.
