Well, considering Ian Corlett saying that Claire was singing for Sweetie Belle now and a few days later, him tweeting to Brian Drummond that today was Claire's "big show", perhaps Sweetie Bell will recognize her special talent as singing in S4?

 

 

As if I hadn't said it enough (though I may have only said it once or twice on these forums), I would love at least one of the CMC to get her cutie mark this season. (Except Babs. I love her, but not as much as the other three.)

 

On top of that, what are the odds of the season 4 opener being based on the "Crystal Heart Spell" book? My guess is it's very slim, since they're said to be written by Megan McCarthy, who I'm pretty sure did not write the book. Though if they credit the book's author for the episodes' story, like SAYS and KCAFO...

 

I dunno, I'd just like to see something new. They say season 4 is gonna be ambitious? Well, make it ambitious!

According to a tweet from Meghan McCarthy,  there will probably be an episode in which two of Tabitha St. Germain's characters interact quite a bit. My money is on a Rarity/Luna episode.

Oddly enough, I hoping this Sunset Shimmer episode isn't a hoax.

 

I haven't seen Equestria girls yet, and from what I gather it's actually not canon to the show's storyline, but what we do know about the pony Sunset Shimmer is that she used to be one of Celestia's students.

 

If Shimmer is an antagonist in Season 4 MLP too, it would bring up (and hopefully answer) some question like; What was Shimmer's life as Celestia's student like? was she a libby even at that time? what caused her to apparently leave Celestia?

 

seriously, for the past 3 seasons, we hardly get any detail about the time when Twilight was personally tutored by Celestia, the show could at least bring us some light on Shimmer's backstory.

I've thought of another theory regarding Sunset Shimmer. What if she enrolled in a sort of trial scheme alongside Twilight in which successful entrants would be taken by Celestia as her student, only to be swiftly swept aside by the more powerful Twilight which gave Celly reason to enrol her? Now take into account the personality of Sunset Shimmer in Equestria Girls, canon or not. If I were her, I'd be pretty peeved that it wasn't me who was chosen to be Celestia's personal student, and having taken the time to brew a plan over the course of the three seasons I'd come back in Season 4 to become Twilight's first enemy as a princess. Sounds pretty solid, does it not?

im excited for season 4 because it will  probably be the best season (besides the 1st season) because we will be watching the evolution of a new princess and the adventures that she embarks upon with her friend, the places shell go the new ponies shell meet and the inevitable hardships shell face while adjusting to being royalty. and the villains that will be scheming to take her crown.

 

this is gonna be AWESOME!

I`m actually glad that Equestria Girls picked up where Season 3 left off. We saw Twilight still adjusting to her alicorn form and being a princess, so hopefully we`ll see more of that in Season 4. But Starswirl The Bearded being a potential villain would be AWESOME!! Considering that Twilight considers him as another role model, a battle of magic between them would be interesting. Equestria Girls also brought up a good point of Twilight wondering whether she`s gonna get her own kingdom to rule over like Cadance or not. All in good time Twi. Celestia`s not cruel, Cadance has been a princess forever but Twi still needs training before she can rule over everything. I seriously want Season 4 to have a little bit of Twilight training, a little bit of the CMC with their crazy antics (hopefully they actually get their cutie marks now ) and a little bit of Princess Skyla. It's been a bit of an interesting week, as far as figuring out the production schedule for S4 goes. Based on some tweets, and a fake leak which turned out to be potentially useful, I was able to construct a fairly accurate time table for when episode went to storyboarding. If any of what I came up with is true, it means that there's a two parter mid season, and that they begin boarding of two parters on the same day.

 

Also, a few days ago I told some people on ponychan to pay attention to twitter today, and look for an indication that they would be recording the finale, and lo and behold we have Rebecca Shoichet in studio.

 

So, a full year out from the episode airing, we can fairly confidently state that the S4 finale is written by Meghan McCarthy, and as we all should have guessed, includes Twilight in one of its songs.

 

A month ago I posted a wall of text here indicating roughly when I thought some episodes would happen. Well because of subsequent tweets which gave me for info, I think I've narrowed them down exactly. The Discord episode should be 407, and the CMC episode with Sweetie Belle's big song should be 419.

 

Finally, AKR looks to have written 424, based on her tweeting about writing for pony at the same time Meghan tweeted about writing a song, and Ian Corlett's episode, POSSIBLY with the Flim Flam Bros. is 420.
