Will Hasbro ever make show accurate plushes?

I'm sure the reasons why the "offical" plushies look as bad as they do is because they where made from leftover patterns/materials from the G3.5 plush. Then they are also desgined that way as an easy way to mass produce them. Its all a way to cut costs and to allow Hasbro to get more money in return.

And ya know, Hasbro doesn't have to make the plushies themselves. They could just give the licence to another company that specializes in quality plush. They do it with other MLP branded products already (as we all know Hasbro doesn't make toothpaste and coloring books).

I know companies like Beanie Babies, Aurora, and Applause make great plushies of licenced characters, *PLUS* Appluase has made offical My Little Pony toys for Hasbro before, why not let them have it it once more?

*one google search later* Never mind, sadly Applause went bankrupt in '04 but there are still other companies who can do it.

EDIT: Found more licenced plush as examples, this time its G3, no idea what company made it.

If you guys haven't noticed, Hasbro is responding to the bronies with official merch...haven't you seen the new set of ponies? All fan favorites but mostly minor characters in the show. Plus we've sold them out of stock a couple times on various products (blind bag ponjies, anyone?). They may not make the plushies right away, but they are not ignoring us completely.

If things continue like they are, i think they will. I mean they are putting shoutouts in the shows now to us. Plushies would sell both to adults and kids so I think it can and will happen. I don't agree with everything that Hasbro does (like discountinuing Heroscape), but they do tend to make more smart business choices than dumb ones.

Anyone think that because Hasbro has upgraded their brushables to make them look show accurate, they will do the same with their plushes and possibly make some of the other mane 4?

I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if Hasbro made MLP:FiM Pony Plushies? I would just LOVE to have a plushie Rarity or Fluttershy to hug to sleep everynight! (Sorry, I'm just a plushophile :P)

The problem is...

Normal plushies: Up to $30

MLP plushies: $200-$5,000

Eeyup. The normal plushies don't look that great in my opinion, and I am not going to shell out big bucks for a custom plushie.

De omnibus dubitandum.

Am I the only one who would rather just enjoy looking at MLP plushies made and admire their design/quality rather than purchase one to own? If I owned it I would have to hide it anyways and that wouldn't be much fun.

In my opinion a person by the name of WhiteDove-Creations makes the best and most accurate custom plushies. They are around $400 US though but they are well worth it. If only I had the money...

She's going to re open commissions as soon as she clears out the backlog of orders she has.

And something like this would never exist but imagine how much money they could make, and how awesome it would be, if they did a Build-A-Bear style thing but only have it a Build-A-Pony where you could make your very own OC plushie.

I would actually LOVE that, and splurge a whole boatload of money on this. I loved Build-A-Bear from the start (I have about 6-ish), but Build-A-Pony, where I can make my Ponysona and Pony characters... oh dear Celestia! Only issue I can see with these plushies is the Cutie Marks unless they just made the mane six and minor/background ponies (or like Lids where we make/pick our own designs and get it stitched on?). They could make oh so much money xP

They do make plushes, just not very accurate ones: http://www.google.co...IwAA#ps-sellers

They gave Twi a freaking mow hawk.

Hide it? If I wound up paying $400-$5000 for a plushie, I'd give it its own pedestal.

And over here you will see my fabulous pony collection. Note the exquisite detail and show accurateness.
