For me personally,

 

Here's my Order, the characters I connect the most to, to the ones I connect the least to:

• Twilight Sparkle - Love of books, I love gaining knowledge, people have said that I'm intelligent, and I prefer being alone. Plus, people say I have a cleaning OCD. 
• Fluttershy - Extremely shy but will lose it if you make me angry.
• Rarity - I hate getting dirty and I do enjoy the "pretty" things.
• Applejack - I'm usually honest about things and people said that I can be depended upon.
• Pinkie Pie - I love making people smile and I'm obsessed with candy and sweets.
• Rainbow Dash - ....I like flying and going fast?

Okay from most to least:

Twilight Sparkle- I really love books and learning. I'm definitely the academic type, and want to pursue a higher education (Twilight seems to have gone through the Equestrian equivalent of post-secondary school). I also share her social awkwardness, and can relate to learning new things about friendship.

 

Rarity- I love art, both appreciating it and creating it. I also hate getting dirty. =P I also believe that generosity is very important.

 

Fluttershy- My social skills are probably the closest to hers. I get super anxious in social situations, and tend to be really shy. I'm not quite as bad her though (I hope :B ). 

 

Pinkie Pie- I'm not one for parties, but I do enjoy laughing and making others laugh. I love fun. 

 

Applejack- I prefer staying indoors. I try to be level headed, though. 

 

Rainbow Dash- I can relate to being goal-oriented, but that's about it. I'm not athletic at all, nor am I outgoing.

Mine probably won't differ much from my favorite ponies list, seeing as my favorites are determined alot by relatablity.

 

1st Fluttershy: I'm a shy person IRL, i'm self concious, have a lot of fears, not good at speaking in front of others, and can be quiet alot. I'm also generally kind and sympathetic. However I also can get quite a temper when angered.

 

2nd Twilight: I am a more introverted person at a good bit of times, I use to hate and find friendship worthless, now while I don't have great friends like Twilight I do long for friendships and get quite lonely somtimes. i'm a nerd, but less for books and more computers, although i'm a pretty question asky person and I try and be logical in alot of instances. I also suppose I can be somewhat OCD at times.

 

3rd Pinkie: I have a bubbly side to myself, and Pinkie basically reflects that for the most part. Only reasonn hes not higher is i'm not always quite as crazy as her, and tend to be a bit more shy, plus I have a good bit of relatablity to Twilight and Flutters.

 

Anyways, I also like to make others happy and smile, even if I'm not always smiling. I enjoy friends though despite not having any IRL ones. And I can be pretty random and crazy at times.

 

4th Rarity: now Rarity is actually 5th on my favorites ponies list, but thinking about it I relate to Rarity a little more then Rainbow. 

 

Anyways, like Rarity I'm pretty perfectionist, I only want to make the best, and not getting perfect frustrates me.

 

Also despite not being a girl, I don't really like getting dirty, i'm not that type of guy really. 

 

I'd also like to say i'm pretty generous overall.

 

I'm not a fru fru person, although I can be self conscious about looks.

 

5th Applejack: Aj is my 6th on my favorite ponies list actually, but I felt like putting her here basically because shes slightly more relatable to me personally then dash.

 

First of all, we're both southern, well she has the accent . Of course I don't actually have much of a southern accent typically, but it shows ocasionally. 

 

Also I'm pretty honest I like to think, i don't like to lie to much, unless I really have to. Makes me feel bad.

 

6th Rainbow Dash: Even though theres nothing against Rainbow for me, I just don't relate to her quite as much. I mean I'm competitive like she is, of course I don't get as narcissistic as her, or as confident.

 

I do like to consider myself loyal though.

 

 

And I guess thats it. Took a little bit, hopefully its worth it though.

1: Pinkie Pie, although you wouldn't think to compare me to her if you met me. Most of the problems that she has to deal with in her episodes and the lessons that she learns are most applicable to me. Party of One and Too Many Pinkie Pies sum up phases of my life pretty well (minus the insanity and magic clones of course )

 

2: Rainbow Dash, sort of shares the whole needing people to like her thing that Pinkie also has, and that I have. Her wrestling with personality flaws in order to try to be the best person she can be works too, as well as putting on another face to hide what's bothering her.

 

3: Applejack, I don't have a fraction of her work ethic, but I do my best to help out people around me and I try to have the integrity that she does.

 

4: Fluttershy, I think I'm only a bit shier than the average person, but I absolutely hate being the center of attention and forget about being around large groups of people, especially if I don't know any of them. I also wonder if some things that happened when I was younger bothered me more than I thought they did and continue to affect me.

 

5: Twilight Sparkle, we're both pretty nerdy, and sarcastic at times too. We also are both very afraid of disappointing people who are important to us. I feel like she was more relatable to me during Seasons 1 and 2.

 

6: Rarity, we can both be pretty hammy and dramatic, but that's pretty much it.

1) Fluttershy: I'm extremely shy. I don't know why, but I hate the idea of talking to people that I'm not really good friends with.

2) Applejack: I try to be as honest as possible without hurting another's feelings. But when it comes to certain things, I just can't bear to sugarcoat things.

3) Rainbow Dash: I love to be active. I'm a fast runner, so we have speed in common.

4) Pinkie Pie: I do my best to find the fun in things. I just love having as much fun as possible!

5) Twilight Sparkle: I think the only thing we really have in common is sarcasm. I'm really sarcastic by nature (I grew up around sarcasm...lol).

6) Rarity: I like being formal when it comes to grammar. Does that count? ...Part of me thinks not, but otherwise I have nothing really in common with Rarity :/

Fluttershy:

 

Despite Rarity being my favourite, Flutters is the one I relate to the most. I can be shy and quiet at times, but really it's her interests I relate to. I volunteer at the RSPCA and help sick animals, and I love looking after animals (and plants) more than anything else. I'm also quite passive and can be easily pushed into things like her.

 

Rarity:

 

Just like Rarity, I can be a huge drama queen (usually played up for effect though) and am quite concerned with manners and being treated/treating others with respect and class. In fact, sophistication is something I valu highly in others. I also fuss over my appearance a lot and while I don't care for fashion, I do enjoy wearing nice clothes.

 

Twilight:

 

I love to learn and often worry myself to death over little things (and over think things) but aside from that, not too much in common.

 

Pinkie:

 

We share the same optimistic outlook and desire to make people happy, but I can't say I relate to her random sense of humour at all. I don't like random so much

 

Rainbow:

 

Loyalty is the element I value and uphold the most, but there's nothing else I can really relate to her with.

 

Applejack:

 

My second favourite pony, yet the least relatable! I'm not a hard physical worker, I don't place any special value on family (no more than friends, etc anyway) and while I try to be as honest as possible, it doesn't always work. I wish I was more like her though!

Rarity: I must create! I also feel a bit out of place in relation to the culture of my hometown (Kansas City)... although I love the natural environment of it.

 

Rainbow Dash: I have a hard time walking with people because I crave to run! I also tend to alternate between doing awesome things and then being lazy.

 

Fluttershy: I'm very shy (particularly in relation to initiating conversations), and even when I do speak up in a group, everyone keeps talking over me.

 

Applejack: I hate lying, so I try not to do anything where telling the truth would be a problem.

 

Pinkie: I hate to see people be sad, and try to solve their problems if at all possible, or at least listen to them if not.

I'm nothing like Rarity, haha. And I think the reason I don't like Fluttershy much is partly to do with the fact she reminds me of how I used to be.
