Honestly, she kind of is best pony, just because she represents friendship the best. She tries to give everyone a chance and is incredibly friendly. We need more Pinkies in the real world.

I think she's just Pinkie, i mean... there's no pony like her, she's always smiling and thinking with optimism... I'd like to be as optimistic as she is! And one thing I like a lot about her is Pinkamena, I mean, who didn't like Party for One? I like when ponies go insane... it's just... hilarious May be she's not best pony, at least not for me (I'd go for Twilight), but hey, Pinkie is just Pinkie.. nuff said

I love Pinkie Pie because she is a goofy, comedic character who is a female for once. When I was a kid the silly/funny/crazy character who was always there when comedy was needed was my favourite character in every show. Michelangelo was my favourite ninja turtle, for example. But the comic relief character was always a boy! As a result, I thought that girls weren't supposed to be funny, or try to be funny and so I spent all of my time wishing that I was a boy because I wanted to be like those characters. Now I know that I can be as funny as I want to be regardless of my gender, but if I had a role model like Pinkie Pie when I was a kid I would have figured it out a lot sooner!

She can either be funny, cute, or just plain annoying.

 

I'm not much of a fan of her, but "Too Many Pinkie Pies" is my second favorite all time episode. So, she can be great sometimes.

I've never been a fan of Pinkie Pie, and until recently, she was my least favorite character (that moniker has been stolen by Rainbow Dash... Eugh...), but listening to a lot of fandom music in either remixes of canon songs or original songs written about her, she's grown on me a bit. She's moved up to #4 for me, ahead of RD and Twilight herself.

 

I like her character and persona, and her jokes are usually the best past season one, but she definitely can get annoying. I also have always hated her color scheme, although I couldn't myself offer up an improvement on it since 1. it's so freaking iconic now and 2. it's kind of directly ingrained to her name so there's not much you could do about it.

 

I wouldn't want to say there should be directly less of her, but if less of her means more Rarity, than please, by all means, take as much of Pinkie's time as you want...

She is best pony.

I don't care what the fan favorite polls say, she is best pony.

She is adorable and funny for the most epic combination

Plus Too Many Pinkie Pies is probably up there in my top 10 favorite episodes.

Well...Pinkie is just pinkie, there's nobody really like her.

She's great for comical purposes and has her fair amount of good scenes and episodes (Too many pinkie pies), but she can get irritating at times. Her personality is unique, and IMO her other persona, Pinkamena, is really cool, and isn't what you normally see in the show. 

Besides her hypersensitive personality and jokes, she's an adequate character.

Well, I do think she is cute but, I also feel that she can be really annoying at certain times.

 

I know that there are bronys out there that would argue with me on this but, too much pinkie can be a bad thing...

Pinkie Pie is an amazing character in the show, and definitely one of my favorites. Her always happy and fun personality is really nice, and I love her optimism in any situation. She has some very funny moments in the show, and I love her singing. Unlike some people in the forums, I actually don't find her annoying and never did. Overall, she is a very good character , and it wouldn't be the same without her in the show

Pinky is the hole reason I watch the show.  All the mane 6 are great but Pinky is 100% unique to this show and any other show I watch.  All I have to do is see or hear her and I smile and its hard to get a person as jaded as me to smile,.especially when its a small pink pony.  o and my first post yay

I like Pinkie Pie. She cares a lot about her friends being happy. And not even just friends, strangers too! She's very inviting when it comes to ponies she doesn't know. Pinkie Pie seems to care a lot about others. This is something I value a lot. Love for other people. 
I have noticed Pinkie Pie being annoying at times, and having trouble making decisions sometimes, these are traits that she struggles with and I do, too sometimes. 
Pinkie Pie is my favorite character because of her love for ponies, and her love for just being so happy! Making light out of a situation so that her friends don't have to worry. I share that with her, too.

I had to wait for "Too Many Pinkie Pies" in order to like her. Of course, she's irreplaceable in the series, seeing how much hilarity she introduces in episodes. But, as some already pointed out, she's quite often simply annoying. I blame the VA here, since I simply can't stand such high pitches. But on the other hand, I couldn't imagine better voice for such character.

Pinkie Pie isn't my favorite pony, hear me out. She is friendly, nice, and very supportive of her friends when they need cheering up. Sometimes she is annoying but, always being in a good mood and Pinkie Pie makes up for that with laughter.

She's a one-of-a-kind pony, she can make anyone have a good day even during their worst times. I feel so sad for her when she turned dark and depressed, Pinkamena creeps the hell out of me when she's psychotic >.<

But for a bouncy, happy, fun-loving pony like Pinkie, what's not to love? :3 She can be annoying at times, but without her the town goes crazy angry and can't even smile without her!

She takes it much too far. I guess that's how she's supposed to be, but at the same time it's just so...blaah. I find it very annoying. There's points when she's funny but most of the time it's ruined by her attitude for the rest of the episode. :c

Pinkie Pie is best pony of the mane 6. Some of the things she do is funny. And noting Magical Mystery Cure, all the townpeople were furious because Pinkie wasn't there to make them smile. So i'll say she sorta keeps the balance in things.
