Soooo, yeah... What do you think of pony graffiti? I've seen some good stuff about pony art and that includes pony graffiti as well.

btw This Colgate reverse graffiti is genius and amazing!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-66TIaQ8zdE

and this Lyra graffiti is awesome as well!

So, is it good, is it bad? What do you think? Would you do pony graffiti in your town yourself?

btw... if this thread was already created... tell me and I shall erase this one smile.png

I think it's awesome, I've seen a few pictures of pony graffiti and I believe that they really do bring some color to what would otherwise just be a plain concrete wall. I would not do so in my town since it's illegal but given the chance I would do it, but only if it was legal. I would like to see a random pony on buildings.

It's fine by me.  Just as long as you don't write your name on the damn wall.  That's like, counterproductive and shit.

Other than that though, if you can get away with it, I say go for it.

It isn't bad unless your vandalizing a public property. Other than that, pony graffiti is pretty cool. In my opinion, it's a pretty expressive way to show your art.

Very much so :)

Infact in Brighton there is some really awesome Graffiti that has been left on the buildings and is now almost a part of the heritige of some areas.

Some Graffiti though is just vandalism, I guess it's very much a case by case basis!

Grafitti's a curious thing to make policies for. We love it when it's done really well, but 99% of it is just going to be some attention-seeking kid from a low-income family spraying his name on the wall in a completely unoriginal way.

So what should the rule be? "Don't do it unless you're really good?" Imagine if places like Deviantart had dumb policies like that - no one would have places to practice and get feedback.

I definitely think there's genuine artistry involved in graffiti, but it's just hard to have the same rules apply to everyone, and still have awesome creations like the ones in the

I'm a big fan of ShinodaGE's work. He's a wonderful artist. I don't really care about vandalism of public property. Personally, I like graffiti, the good and artistic kind that is.

Also, in ShinodaGE's country, graffiti is actually not against the law, so it's all fine.

It doesn't bother me if you are good but if you are bad it's just an eye sore I enjoy skilled graffiti a lot though as long as its not on a nice building

That's pretty neat! I never really thought about pony graffiti before, or seen any.

I doubt I could do any in my town though, my town has cameras on the streets lol. That sounds like it would be a great and fun idea to do... tongue.png

I also like the whole "reverse graffiti" idea. It's not really permanent and it cleans the walls! :D

I think it's pretty cool as long as it's legal, but it's still not something that I would do. Besides, I can't even draw ponies with that level of quality, much less paint them smile.png .

Woah, are you talking about Brighton, England? Brighton Beach?

Couldn't agree more with you. I guess we just have to let graffiti be, what we may not like is perfect for others and viceversa. And even there was a policy for graffiti, I think it would constantly be broken. However, there are artists who are pretty good at this and their works can even change people minds.

Fan of Shinoda's art o'er here as well :D Didn't know it was legal in his country :o Guess that explains a lot x)

Woah! Cameras everywhere? now that's a challenge! :P Maybe reverse graffiti is legal since one is not damaging the buildings or writing something permanent on it... if you're up to do some, search a place where there are no cameras and... let's clean the walls! ... with ponies.

I guess as long as its nothing in a place that is super violating anyones property its cool, besides its better then most of the graffiti around here.

I don't do graffiti, so no i wouldn't do it, besides i don't have the art talent for it anyways ;p.

To be honest I love graffiti. It's better when it's not in an illegal place so it won't be cleaned off and the artists time wasted but as long as It's an actual piece and not some wanker spraying their "gangsta name" on a wall I really enjoy it. I haven't seen any pony graffiti IRL and have to rely on internet but LOVE what I've seen so far and can't wait for the day I actually see some IRL :3

Truth be told, I've never heard of reverse graffiti before. And I like it! Not just the anti-vandalism approach, but I also like the silhouette-appearance of the style.

I'm fine with regular graffiti too, as long as it's appealing to the eye.

There's a big wall near my old school that had a lot of crude faces and, uhh, private parts - drawn on it until a professional artists went and sprayed this sick image onto it.

Now the wall is used for advertisement graffiti, and it looks pretty!

I find some graffiti to be pretty awesome. In fact here, some people are actually PAID to do graffiti on buildings, over passes, along train routes...etc...

It takes some serious skill to do it really good.

I've done some pony graffiti, friend and I did a Fluttershy out of snow under a bridge in our town....

Also, chalk....a local brony artist here uses chalk and makes pony graffiti during meets, on sidewalks walls...where ever there's concrete pretty much.

Fluttershy's lover, she's my waifu. I'm in love and obsessed with her, she's given me shyabetes. *Hnnnng*

I think as long as it's legal, any kind of family-friendly graffiti is fine. Ponies are definitely a plus to see on a wall. Haven't ever seen it yet, but it'd certainly be awesome to run into IRL.

... Personally, I'd like to see some Ace Attorney graffiti, but hey.

I personally love it, too bad my favourite MLP graffiti artist doesn't live where I am so I can see some of his creations. My personal favourite of his:

There needs to be more Pony Graffiti around the world. I'm not sure if graffiti is allowed where I live but there are still people who spray graffiti on back of their trucks. Just imagine Pinkie Pie on the back of a delivery truck.

In general I only condone graffiti if it is non gang related and usually in places where it won't disturb anything. Graffiti on shop walls and other things like that I find to be childish because that stuff usually has to be removed and is a nuisance.

Honestly I love the Pony Graffiti though it looks great!
