I dont know if i can put this in sugarcube corner but meh. So as the title implies, what do you think is inside the box? I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be in episode 26 but yeah.

 

If someone already made a post like this, feel free to tell me. 

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia

The funny thing about the box is, I can only think about things I hope it doesn't contain.  For instance:  I really hope the box doesn't contain a new set of magical artifacts akin to the Elements of Harmony.  We literally just hung up the Elements of Harmony, and solving problems without magical artifacts of power is way more interesting to watch.

 

Wouldn't it be funny if the box was empty?

I like to think it is a powerful demon or monster. Throughout the season, the main six learn more about the power of friendship while they collect the keys. When all the keys are gathered and are used to unlock the box, out comes this very powerful monster. It's purpose is to destroy all life and leave the land in complete darkness. The only thing that can stand in its way is the main six. They use all the knowledge and power they gained to defeat the monster.

 

That's just me though. :P

I'm thinking it's going to be Rainbow Power. These transformations could replace the Elements of Harmony. They'd probably just be temporary transformations, but still. I'll be stoked if I'm right. I mean, if there is no Rainbow Power than the Rainbow Power stickers, and toys will just be toys/stickers then. I guess only time will tell. Anyways, I saw a Rainbow Power toy at Target last time. This is the first time I've seen one here in the states. Interesting.

Well I think we all know it will be something to do with friendship and knowing the show's love for rainbows there will probably be some friendship rainbow  :blink:

I know this is a stretch, but I'm thinking the following:

 

Maybe it's some sort of dark force, which corrupts all who come into contact with it. Sort of like the symbiote effect from Spider-Man.

This may have been sealed inside the box by Luna and Celestia's ancestors, and never passed on, due to the destructive force of the corruptive being.

My thoughts.

 

So, at first I thought new elements of harmony but then... I considered something.

What if the box isn't fully from the harmony tree? What if the chaotic seeds were also blended in this box?

Maybe what is in the box is both chaotic and harmonic?

I think it will be another set of the Elements of Harmony, as they need to them to take Discord down and I'm sure they will need them later in the season.

 

Edit:I think it will be something that proves they've done well and proved there friendship without the elements.

I actually like the proposal Mikami brought up! It's pretty much a certainty that the box will have something in it, so why not Rainbow power? That way, the Mane 6 will have a snazzy new transformation, Hasbro'll have a new toy line to plug, and we'll have a cool Deus Ex Machina to look forward to. That way, everyone will win!

To be honest, I'm quite clueless. Part of me has considered this rainbow power though. Remember the rainbow ribbon from the Manehattan episode? It seemed to be a small/big deal of sorts that must have meant something. They spread it through out the ending. Just seems strange to leave a rather peculiar event that has nothing to do with the episode behind.

It's going too be some ex machina too replace the old machina that they'll need to beat the villain in the finale of season 4.

 

Let's face it this show has been relying of machina for 3 seasons now. Meghan's not going too stop using it now that's for sure.
