Except tomatoes, I can eat tomatoes, but I would prefer my burger to not have one. ^^

I don't understand people who pay for a burger and just get it plain.  You might as well make that at home then

My favoite way is bacon, lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese. If no Bc is available then ketchup, tomato, lettuce is great. If its the mcdonalds dollar menu-ketchup only.

If I make my own I like to rub some steak seasoning on it for some added flavor, and of course I like all the basic stuff that you would expect their to be on any burger (cheese, onions, lettuce etc) then instead of having ketchup and mustard on my burgers I like to put BBQ sauce on them instead, or even mix it into the meat! Mm that is delicious!

The rule of thumb is, is that bacon automatically makes EVERYTHING 20 percent cooler!

Every time at restaurants I look on the menu for burgers and I get them like this. Cut the unions, and mustard, and add cheese.

I'm guilty of really digging the stuff they put on McDonald's burgers -- which is essentially mayonnaise, vinegar, and French dressing I believe.

At this one restaurant named Elevation Burger (no longer in this city :C ), I would always put lettuce, tomatoes, caramelized onions , refular onions, elevation sauce , ketchup, mayonnaise, and sometimes cheese. It was delicious . Mushrooms are ok, and grilled veggies are ok sometimes (if one goes to Five Guys). And sometimes cheese.

 

They even had a burger named "half the guilt" 1 and 2 which included a veggie/vegan patty. The 2nd one was my favorite .

I usually just include lettuce on my burgers (and once in a while, onions), but I often add bacon when it's available.
