Villain of "Twilight's Kingdom" [spoilers]

Well, looks like the villain of TK will be completely new.  This new villain breaks out of Tartarus and specializes in draining magic.  This rules out all the existing villians, as none of them were sealed in Tartarus.  Chrysalis comes close, because we could assume she was later moved there, but her specialty is draining love (though she is capable of draining magic).

 

This sounds like Vukodlak, a vampiric horse-wolf.  Hasbro did tease the villain was a vampire.  Looks like it will be one of sorts.

All we really know (as far as I'm concerned) is this much from the press releases and clips:

1. The villain broke out of Tartarus
2. It's a guy
3. He's a new character
4. He steals magic
5. He's creepy

I saw something about Tartarus on Horse News. Looked like a slightly altered/expanded episode synopsis. I can't find a source for a vampire pony villain though.

After watching the clip and reading the synopsis of the upcoming two parter, I'm super psyched for the villain.

 

If it's Tirek, I'd be super hyped, but I'm not sure if he completely fits the description. Also, he'd need a redesign as well to take away his humanesque features.

 

Either that or Grogar. I dunno, I'm just suddenly in the mood for an old villain to come back with an epic redesign. If it isn't an old villain, though, I'm still excited. A magic-draining villain from Tartarus is more bad-flank than I could have ever expected from this.

Imagine Chrysalis figuring out a way to feed off of Discord. Shining Armor's Love overpowered her and even Celestia was defeated. Imagine Chrysalis with the power of a draconequus.

 

 

Considering Discord may fail at whatever he does to track/stop the villain in Part 1, it fits that part. Still looking for this Hasbro vampire pony tease thing. There are a lot of cool OC's referencing Tartarus and vampires, but nothing that looks official. Is it possible that they were teasing Flutterbat?

When I saw this image in the finale trailer I thought of Sunset Shimmer's weird red demon form at the end of "Equestria Girls". I know it won't be her though since this villain is male.

The new villain may have a connection with Discord. If there is a spirit of chaos and disharmony, then there would likely be other spirits in other things like one being destruction, darkness, and corruption.
