  1. Just had one last night! It was this sort of decathalon/olympic type thing where a human teams up with a pony. I don't remember alot of details now bu tI recall a frisbee catching competition. Pinkie Pie was my partner. I remember throwing it and her falling on her back and us laughing
  2. you see her do the Cat Daddy yet? mine is Anne Hathaway...so gorgeous Not sure I can qualify a crush on Anne Hathaway as falling in love...the only women I am in love with is my wife. I think this is just a playful thread meant to ask a playful question. I am trying not to take it too seriously
  3. Love this topic so I am 3 weeks from finishing my masters degree in psychology and about to start my PhD in research psychology. Along the ways I have learned dozens of theories on personality development and while it may not be right for some I would say I agree with Carl Jung's theory and perform therapy with his theory. So here is the breakdown. So every person is born with some of their personality in them. In a way it is passed down, some instinct and some original. Then when you are born your psyche fractures due to conflicting views and opponents of your original personality. So our jobs (if one wants to become mentally whole again) is to enter into a process of what he called reindividuation or reintegration. This is a process whereby the person works throughout his/her life to put all the pieces back together including the pieces he/she has found through their life's travels. Only when you can form this old and new information into a whole do you become 100%. As stated in OP, it is rare for someone to be able to pull this off 100%. I am working on it with my own therapist and I work on it with my patients. It's a long road but I feel by facing your own shadow and demons So if I were to summarize I feel it is both nature and nurture that forms us. It is a combination of our instincts and preconceived being as well as our environment and our caretakers/family/friends Again, great topic.
  4. me and Pinkie Pie...make treats, play tricks on people...just having good ole time! I'd probably like to go as my ponysona Cupcake Ice Cream
  5. I place them equally but I admit I am quick to get rid of dead weight. By dead weigh tI mean people who want to down me or make my life miserable. But regardless, I cherish my IRL friends the same as the online ones
  6. So even though Pinki Pie is my favorite have to go with Lyra's or Berry Punch's
  7. good call. I like this statement the most... I don't think it's fair to paint us all with the same made-up brush. This forum is nice, but I could walk away from the fandom right now and still enjoy watching it (reruns included) for eons. Several people in this forum have said this before so I won't claim this is an original thought... I may be branded a Brony but all-in-all I am merely a huge FiM and MLP fan...period. I found this show through my wife well before I knew of the fandom. Only then did I enter the fandom to discuss FiM and MLP with other fans. I don't plan on it but if I lost my head and got banned from here tomorrow I would still watch the show over and over and over
  8. Pinkie Pie is indeed best pony. I loved her from the first moment and still do today. For a short time Rarity threatened to take over the number one spot but I just couldn't do it
  9. I was digging the intro...and then Pinkie Pie appeared...I swooned
  10. love this post. Quite frankly I have always been dubious on the whole fire ruby issue. She talked about how exquisite it was. She never said, Spike can I have it? Spike could have taken the compliment and proceeded to eat it later. Then when she does have it GIVEN to her she wars it with pride. Frankly I think she likes him in return but thinks it won't work. Nasty little post altogether, but could have really done without the last line (unless it was some joke and I am just missing the point.)
  11. eh she does nothing for me personally but no need to bash others who love her like Tom. For example, I cannot stand Granny Smith...CAN'T STAND HER! But that doesn't make Granny fans wrong. It just do anything for me. Love and tolerate, live and let live, like what you like and allow others to like what they like...and so forth
  12. love it love it love it! I love me some physics and cosmology and this to me is a spectacular find! I always felt that something great would come from the LHC nice post
  13. I'd have to agree that the whle best pony thing is just a harmless little battle proclaiming who your favorite pony is. I think sometimes people take the whole "Best Pony" thing too far. It's just in fun imo. I say Pinkie Pie is best pony because she is my favorite. My wife says Twilight Sparkle is best pony and we have a silly argument...no harm done
  14. if we are talking young...I would say Junior Year...I came out of my shell and met my second girlfriend...grades improved...life was great If I am going adult I would say this last year in my master's degree. It was hard as all get out but I survived my internship and school and made some new friends...and got accepted into my PhD program...life is good
  15. love it...why don't we just laugh to ourselves, realize we are better than it and just walk away?
  16. hallelujah... if it comes to those two...I chose digital for my ipod so I can run with it but vinyl...smooth and warm
  17. nothing really special...just one more thing for my wife and I to share
  18. I am in graduate school now. Finishing my masters in July and start my PhD in September. From what I remember of undergrad, it was hectic, busy but totally survivable. Join a club, rest, party or whatever but never forget to keep your eyes on the prize!
  19. experience life...I just like to try and see what life has to offer and I go for it
  20. 14 years old I knocked a large chunk of the computer system offline and got caught doing so
  21. random google search for MLP forums...the other forums I have been on weren't so accepting because I am (gasp) older
  22. good call...mad I didn't think of this
