    Given the context that saddles appear in I'd think it to be a form of clothing for ponies similar to vests for humans. Heavy and thus warm, so it'd often be used in winter months, can serve as a form of armoring when made of certain materials which is why the guards have it, and general purpose enough to be integrated into designs like some of Rarity's work. So the writers just chose this clever way to integrate a horse thing into the show.

    I think I'm bisexual, just because there are so many scenarios where the same sex is alluring for me, though I think the fact that it's only in certain contexts means most of the time I won't consider guys. So bisexual dominantly hetero? And I'm heteromantic for sure. I'd never consider a guy as anything more than a friend.

    It's a bit of a conundrum for me, just because I understand where both sides are coming from. On the one hand you could say DWM is taking the whole thing too seriously. On the other hand, trying to make a joke out of such a horrible RL thing is a pretty dick move. Honestly the only thing I'm sure of is that even if DWM accomplishes the shut down of Molestia it's not going to change rape culture, even remotely. So I'm inclined to say Molestia should stay. Just because the cause is futile in the first place, they're not going after the right things.

    I've always had a cat motif around me as a person, I tend to act like a cat at times, they're my favorite domestic animal, and most of my internet usernames have involved the word somehow, usually spelled 'kat' because why not. I was thinking of possible artist's names and some of the ones I thought of paid homage to my long history of cat stuff, this one included. I eventually settled on this one because it sounded the coolest. In addition, after I settled on Katskratch I realized it also quasi-referenced MLP (Vinyl Scratch) so it would work well as a name within the fandom, and it also thematically makes me similar to deadmau5. So yeah, the name ties together a bunch of things I like very well.

    I was (and still consider myself) part of the extensive fandom that built itself around the series, though I was atrocious at the games themselves and I don't think I ever completed a single one, though I have a soft spot for Scarlet Weather Rhapsody because I found the fighting games funner than the straight up bullet hells (in spite of the fact that I'm even worse with that genre). My favorite character is probably Marissa, because fanon interpretation makes her super fun and cool.

    as long as there aren't nine thousand musical numbers with her i'm good But seriously, I just see it as another cool little thing for the show to expound upon. Should be interesting to see what the writing staff's come up with for Season Four.

    If there were absolutely no restrictions? I'd be a better person- the best person I could be- so that I could be a key influential figure in what I feel is going to be a significant period in human history. I'd always be working, and loving every second of it. In contrast to now, where I'm a lazy ass.

    Doubt I'd be able to get out of it alive, if my skills as a person translated into my skills as a pony. My best hope is that I could team up with survivors from whatever hellish Equestria I've been dumped into and contribute what I can until I can find my way home.

    I love Tumblr, especially because all the fan musicians I follow use it primarily. I'm personally fine with all the social justice drama, and I think it's nice that there's a place out there where it's happening. Change doesn't happen without people talking about change! Only thing I think Tumblr is bad in is formatting posts. I tried to Tumblr RP once, literally the worst thing ever. It took me thirty minutes to format a few lines correctly.

    I am very interesting, yes. I like the fact that this forum is branching out to accommodate as many aspects of the fandom as it can, seems like a fun way to get more bronies on the same page. And I didn't know Discord had fans. But seriously, thanks for the welcome. Oh I'm a forum veteran, this is nothing. And thanks for the wishes!

    I hope so! It looks like you guys have a new RP section that could use canon ponies... Might give my Pinkie a shot there. @Fluttershy: nope I used to have them but I lost all of them when I had to fix my computer. They all sucked, anyways, I'm hoping to put up some much better stuff soon. Possibly within a few days, even. EQ girls had some nice songs for the remixing.

    I think Lunas Sorrow is right to an extent, in that none of the Princess are the 'deities' of their associated domains per say, but that they're just capable of doing things within that area with their magic. In a way Twilight could be the most considerably powerful Princess with time, considering that her talents are all of magic in general. Personally I like to think of it as akin to how nobility in real life works. Twilight will probably receive some form of dominion or administrative duty, more likely the latter. She won't become the living representative of friendship or magic or harmony or anything like that. She'll just be known for her good grasp of those things.

    There was green lettering on the sub-forum icon and everything! So I made this post. I'm a pretty serious fan, I attend conventions and I go to meetups and all that good stuff. I follow a lot of the fan musicians, and I'd say that's the biggest draw for me in terms of fan activity. They even inspired me to give a shot at music production, and I'll probably put stuff up on FM and the forum when I finish it. Working on some stuff now, really excited about how it's going! Besides that I can also write and roleplay, as stuff I've done for other fandoms. I really don't have the time to write fanfic anymore, but I might pop around on an RP thread or two once I actually can. Three something more posts to go! And finally, best pony is avatar pony. Hope to see y'all around on the forums!

    EB raises a good point, and I think it's a major selling point for characters who already have siblings or the like to take care of, since it means they essentially already know what they're doing, individual characters aside. Honestly all six mares have at least some experience with being some sort of 'figure' to a younger pony, though not all to the same degree. Ultimately I voted for AJ though, just because I think she has the sort of traits I'd want in a mother that's not my actual mother. Stern and quasi-disciplinary when necessary, but patient and easy going when she doesn't have to be serious. But I think Twilight, Rarity, or Fluttershy would all be good mothers as well. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash are the two I'm not sold on, not in their present states.
