    Good evening everypony!

    Honestly, I don't have that much to say right now, it was just a little while since I posted my status update, and I just felt like saying hello.:grin:

    Currently eating mince pies and drinking warm milk. So, I suppose that, altogether, life isn't so bad right now.

    I attempted to find a suitable image for this post, but I'm a little conflicted as to whether these smiling pies are festive or just kinda creepy.:confused:

    My dark side is pompous, conceited, contemptuous, selfish, callous, lazy, cantankerous, cruel, antagonistic, insecure, immature, self-pitying and self-destructive. I become haughty and self-obsessed, as well as fiery and vicious. I lash out at the people who attempt to reach out to me, and I give off zero warmth or affection to anyone and everyone, even my own family. I proclaim hateful things that I don't mean, and tend to be way over the line and unnecessarily harsh/spiteful. And then, when I damage said relationships and those people turn against me, I feel bad for myself, despite often knowing deep down that it's my fault. I then become disillusioned and cynical with life as a whole. I stop trying hard for anything and become extremely reckless/careless/irresponsible and endeavour in many unwise activities such as massive overeating, or drinking heavily until I have something of a nervous breakdown. So, yeah, I have a lot of faults, but I tend to keep them in check most of the time. At least I'm aware of them, which, and I know that it's a cliched statement, but just being able to acknowledge these problems is basically half of the process towards fixing them.

    My father and I have a very solid (if a little bit repetitive) relationship. We see eye-to-eye on a great many things and we accept each other's opinions on the matters that we don't agree on. On the other hand, my mother and I have a very tumultuous relationship. We can both be pretty pompous and arrogant at times, but very rarely is she able to own up to it in my opinion. She also expects a lot of constant visible warmth on my part to corroborate in her mind that we love one another, whereas I believe in maintaining a very casual relationship with my immediate family, and am not too keen on overt displays of affection. So altogether, with 1 being the optimal score, I'd rate my father a 3/10, and I'd rate my mother 7/10. I love them both, but I definitely have a personal preference with who I would rater live with long-term.

    Good morning everypony, and a merry first of December to all of you!:grin:

    Well, once again, it's the season to be jolly, an, in the spirit of that ideology, I gave myself a little makeover. Just saying, it took me almost two hours to find satisfactory images for the profile, which is the most work I've done in months. 

    I think that it's safe to say that I may have a problem.:rarity:

    Cold and sad. Plus, on the walk to college, I'm pretty sure that I heard the frigid wind call me a very rude name indeed.

    Well, I'm no longer working, which can only be a good thing. Plus, I'm also currently playing through Super Paper Mario with my brother, which is pretty fun.

    Eh, somewhat. I act a tad less...effeminate. Weirdly however, while I seem to be quite adept at forming bonds on the forums, the people at my college seem to find me uncomfortably conniving. Oh well. Perhaps I just have an untrustworthy face?

    Not very (I am English, after all), but if I hug you back, then that's how you know that we're great friends (wow, this sounds so corny).

    The internet is a strange place, and who are we to judge? If people want to draw gender-swapped version of characters that they love, they are completely in their rights to do so.

    I would waste it on things that I don't need, become covetous and selfish, and would probably end up being visited by three hostile (not to mention, slightly preachy) ghosts who proceed to show me "the meaning of Christmas". That, or y'know, I'd probably save up for an early (and very frivolous) retirement.

    I very much agree with this statement. For example, if you're really in love, then any time that feels right, with little financial risk, is fine. If you're my parents, then the correct time is never. So, yeah, it varies from person to person.

    I usually say something along the lines of "Meh", which, while perhaps sounding a little negative, is a vast improvement on my father's reply of "Better than you".

    So, for clarification, you like giving gifts to people, and I like receiving gifts from people? If I'm ever in the States for some reason, we should totally celebrate Christmas together!
