(Negatively) I think of the fandom’s minority complex, inappropriate fan-work, resentment among fandom about the show, bigotry about Bronies, the show’s decline, the fandom’s fear of negativity, polarizing reactions towards EQG. Can you think of some and elaborate? It doesn’t have to be correct, it just has to capture the stream of collective consciousness of MLP fandom or the other people.

I just wish they didn’t made the story revolve around the lore. The explanations of the lore shouldn’t have been required in the first place. If they ever was going delve into it, they have to do it right. There’s no way they are going to do it right, so they shouldn’t make the kind of show that focuses on the lore in the first place. Fairy tails are not about the lore, the settings are mostly story elements that are used merely once, or just foreshadowing.

Could they resist the urge to jump on the bandwagon of past success and references? I hope so.

@YoungJustice12334 I don’t get pissed off that much at this episode, but I think this is the pinnacle of MLP fan-servicing and fandom recognitions in a way I personally don’t like. I said before in a different topic about the episode, that it is very easy to excite certain fans with cheap references. I also saw M.A. Larson’s interview that he didn’t like the episode, most of the ideas were already written for him, he just got the credit because his reputation among the Brony fandom. I think this is not the worst of season 7, but that’s because the episode is not boring and the execution itself is not badly done. I just don’t like what they were aiming for.
