  1. Because in later seasons, they couldn’t write a good story arc or have a seasonal plan to save their lives. Look at what they did with Sombra. Look at what they did with the elements. The students. Twilight. Crystal Empire. Princesses. The Pillars. Discord.
  2. I think it’s a good idea. Unlike Celestia and Luna, maybe the Wonderbolts’ casual lives outside of the Academy can be dealt more naturally to the point without breaking the characters. Besides, outside being a Wonderbolt, most of their characters are vastly undiscovered. What I think the episodes should be about is How to balance between work (duty) and personal life. How every Wonderbolt members are so different personally, but they can work together so well as a team. What the Wonderbolts and Equestria represents. Them meeting each others friends and families. How they decided to be a Wonderbolt when they were growing up. (Like the Cutie Mark Chronicles)
  3. I don’t think there are actual heaven and hell, but what matters is that if they believe in the afterlife while living. Equestria is based on the fundamental concept of what is good and bad, and I’m quite sure that they believe in divinity, spirituality and afterlife. But also, for them, morality is directly connected to the problem of their survival, so I don’t think they need to be told about an imaginary concept of their moral consequences. Morals might be treated like engineering. If they misbehave, Equestria turns into hell quite quickly and vice versa.
  4. Starlight Glimmer. And it's not a compliment. I've seen saturday morning cartoon villains in MLP, I've seen fairy tail archetypal villains in MLP. But a character based on real life cult leaders, fascist leaders, socio-psychopaths? No thanks.
  5. I barely remember that I once mixed milk with Coca Cola out of curiosity. Somehow my brain completely erased the memory of that taste. I have no Idea how it tastes but I'm too scared to try it again.
  6. If it doesn’t get hated, it means nobody cares and the show didn’t make it.
  7. They would either openly like it (Pinkie), or pretend dislike it while secretly liking it (Trixie). I don’t know.
  8. He clearly wanted to go, he just pretended to not want it because it was “girly stuff”.
  9. I think Applejack has both the most selfish and also the most selfless reason depending on how you see it. I mean, you can sell your damn apples somewhere else, not at royal festivities. Even for your own family is also a selfish reason. Not that her heart was in a wrong place, just surprised that Canterlot even allowed her to commercialize the festivity. Might as well just sell the ticket for money. If I were Twilight, I would give it to someone who is in the gala for the sake of being in it. Rarity’s reason is just ridiculous if you listen to it. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie has better reasons. If Pinkie wasn’t too obsessed with her own idea of fun, I might have gave it to her. Turns out that nobody got what they wanted at the gala in episode 26 and everybody was full of horse manure. Only Spike seemed to have the right idea only if the ponies weren’t running around like crazy fillies instead of just enjoy being there with friends. I’ll give it to Spike. Because he would like to go there with me, he would do the same for me, his intentions are pure. p.s. I think Twilight returning the tickets to Celestia was kind of rude. She could have just asked for more tickets.
  10. Just go for Todd. It always works.
  11. If a redemption story isn’t handled well, then even one is too many. There has been some good redemption stories and some bad ones. I think it got a little stale towards the end since the only option for villains is to neutralize them. It means that the heroes either has to blast the villain’s face with a laser, or convert them into good guys. The writers didn’t particularly come up with fresh ideas either.
  12. She didn’t deserve to be forgiven because she didn’t earn her forgiveness. Twilight had to forgive her because the alternative was the destruction of the entire world. Twilight didn’t had an option so it wasn’t an act of mercy. Starlight’s redemption was just given to her without any cost whatsoever (actually it was a better option for her own selfish interests in the first place) so she didn’t earn her redemption. She didn’t deserve to be forgiven, and if there was a way to stop her by blasting a rainbow laser to her face or imprisoning her, Twilight would have done it thousand times just like she did it with Chrysalis, Sombra, Tirek and Cozy Glow.
  13. Warcraft : Reforged. But we all know now what happened....
  14. Well, I think all the mane six are designed to struggle from their elements. From time to time, Rarity is selfish, Fluttershy is, well, shy, Pinkie is insecure, Twilight is a loner, Rainbow Dash is egotistical, Applejack is practical. Rarity’s selfishness was most visible throughout the show, and that’s why she gets pointed out the most. But I think her character’s struggle is the most interesting one and that makes good episodes. She used to be my least favorite pony, but she eventually became one of my best.
  15. She turned out to be a great character, but she was a terrible character as a villain in the first movie. If she stayed in the same lane, she would have taken the terrible legacy with her character, which is the terrible writing.
  16. She has been disappointing indeed. Earlier seasons for practical incompetences (but it didn’t ruin the tone of the whole show, so I’m fine with this), later seasons for her sheer immaturity and her questionable dignity and authority figure. I think the writers took a misstep making her more “Relatable” and “Down-to-Earth”. It didn’t work. They shouldn’t have stripped her from her holiness in the first place. Her trolling the Cakes with tea was the right balance.
  17. If the creature is a sentient being, has equal or more intelligence than a human, and capable of communication, it’s xenophilia. If the creature is not a sentient being or incapable of making sexual decisions about themselves, incapable to communicate, it’s bestality or pedophilia (or both). I think the difference comes from the mind of the subjects. If it thinks like a human or something equivalent to that or even higher, it’s xenophilia. Beastality is like a man f***ing a sheep or something like that. If you are f***ing a pony, that’s beastality. But if it’s like the ponies from the show, it might be considered as xenophilia.
  18. I’m writing MLP themed songs and I’m concerned if it will get some copyright issues with Hasbro. (There are direct mentions of Applejack, Rarity, Parasprites, Alicorns, Derpy, Equestria etc.) I’m planning to upload them on Youtube and sell them on Bandcamp. They are not just fan projects, I intend them as actual commercial products and my copyrighted works. I know that there are music albums out there about Warhammer 40000 (Bolt Thrower), The Lord of the Rings (many power metal bands and Led Zeppelin). There are songs about the Punisher and Judge Dredd. But I’m concerned about Hasbro being super strict about their properties (and blocking them or suing me). And because of the nature of the genre (thrash/black/death metal/grindcore), the lyrics are not kid friendly. There might be a possibility of interpreting them as damaging their properties. Do you have any examples of which has been ok and which hasn’t? Or can you tell me some laws about this that can help me? p.s. (Is it ok to write a chorus that goes “Sue me m***er f***er, sue me mf, sue me!”?)
  19. She would keep doing what she was doing, and she would also study inter dimensional magic. And occasionally visit Equestria.
  20. I like all the stories, but I think Pinkie’s story encapsulates the whole concept of the rainboom thing best.
