    I spoke to an old friend today, someone I realized I hadn't talked with one on one in a long time, and sweet Sunbutt was it awkward. I wrote out a whole little rant about my awkwardness just now and deleted it because it kinda spiraled off the rails. :awwthanks:

    I finished the fimfiction Past Sins the other day, and now I’m going to continue Crier’s War by Nina Varela.

    I thought it was okay. I liked the feel-good conclusion, and the cult parts, and edgy conflicted nightmare pone. And the writing itself was fine, although it was at times redundant (“I’m sorry,” Nightmare Moon apologized).

    Another thing, one that’s probably more about me than the story: I didn’t find Twilight and Nyx’s bond natural enough to win me over. There was too much “look, we’re mother and daughter” and less showing Twilight’s growing love for Nyx. Although maybe that’s just how I read it. :adorkable:

    Overall I felt it was worthwhile and enjoyable, though. I’d definitely like to doodle Nyx at some point. If you’ve read it, what did you think?
