She saved Spike and the Crystal Heart from King Sombra while on the brink of collapse, helped Twilight beat a tatzlwurm, and was ready to kick Sombra's nads into his throat in the S9 opener. Doesn't sound like somepony boring. In fact, those moments cemented her as my third favorite princess with the most adorable handshake. But yeah, the last seasons made her and Shining Armor kind of basic. For mine: Ms. Harshwhinny. She had three appearances, all of them confined to the Equestria Games mini-arc, and after that just... disappears. And yet she's been strong on my mind lately. I have no freaking idea why. Flim and Flam. A little bit of those two goes a long way. Mudbriar. There's being knowledgeable, and there's being tactless. The yaks. It's very telling that after the first time they appear, they vanish for two seasons, reappear once, and again as part of a monothematic season. Sassy Saddles. She starts out nice and easy and is genuinely likeable, but when she starts taking over Rarity's boutique, yeah... Zesty Gourmand. She's like the Svengallop of food.

I've thought, since I started watching the show, that Celestia and Luna, and to an extent, Cadance as well, were indescribably more powerful than any pony/creature since they're both 1000 years old and have a lot of magical XP. We know Celestia could've easily shown Chrysalis the axe, but because monster-of-the-week plots demanded the Mane 6 handle things themselves, she (and Luna) never got that chance. A spinoff with just them would give them that chance, in which case, hellz yeah.

Valid concerns, because PG-rated material, as well as series rated G and TV-Y7, tended to show violence, rude language, and the like. If that ends up being the case for G5, I'm taking that as a warning sign because I don't watch MLP for that.

Not really, but a handful of episodes after season 5 kind of make you forget that it is one at its core.

My top two are Twilight and Fluttershy since the beginning. That hasn't changed, but then Applejack later moved up some thanks in no small part to her development.

She had some potential to turn over a new leaf. That look on her face at the end of CotLM kind of showed she'd never again try to badmouth anypony in front of her own daughter, but in seasons 6-9 she stays pretty much the same.

None of the Mane 6 have ever annoyed me, not even Pinkie Pie in Filli Vanilli; I let that one slide because it was actually funny, even if it was Fluttershy on the receiving end, but that was it. After that, she started to get grating. It wasn't the character's fault, it was the newbie writers who couldn't write her competently. Funny thing is, Andrea Libman is actually better known for voicing gentler, smarter, and more easy-going characters (eg. Emmy, Lemon Meringue, Madeline, etc.) than Cloudcuckoolanders.

Even if Netflix doesn't need to advertise, I'm going to be the first to say that, trailer or not, I think I'm going to wait until the series proper wraps up its first season. This way, I can see if it will be worth watching because as it is, I don't have high hopes for G5, and neither do some of you, I can see. I got hyped for the LPS reboot when trailers started dropping, but then the series itself turned out just... marginal. That was the last time I ever went in blind on a new series, so I'm not going to do it with this one.

That about sums it up. I dunno about Minuette, though.

There's quite a few of them. Andrea Libman in Dragon Tales, which also had Chantal Strand, Kathleen Barr, Ian James Corlett, etc. It was the very first voice I've seen her do, but I didn't know at the time. Colin Murdock, Lee Tockar, and Scott McNeil in The Twisted Whiskers Show. Nicole Oliver, for those who haven't seen it, was in Inuyasha: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass. Tabitha St. Germain as Pepper Clark and Mona Autumn in LPS. I know she's done tons of voices, but these two were outstanding. Patricia Drake (Ms. Peachbottom) as Griselle Grande in Polly Pocket. Maryke Hendrikse in Black Lagoon. What a treat, now I'll never look at Gilda the same way again. Ingrid Nilson as Raspberry Torte in Strawberry Shortcake. Dude, go for it. It's got musical numbers that'd give MLP a run for its money.

Highest: Twilight Sparkle, Cheese Sandwich, Lyra, Minuette Lowest: Fluttershy, Spoiled Rich, Svengallop, Discord, Chrysalis Now I say Svengallop because although his actions were dickish, it's likely he has standards. If he saw any of those child pageant shows, he'd puke.

Holy shit. I knew China leaked several episodes, and the Dutch did the finale, but God. All. Mighty. That was one hell of a year for everyone trying to avoid spoilers; meanwhile, all I did was sit back and watch the fireworks.

I've never thought much of Haber's involvement with the show, let alone the rest of the writers, new or veteran, because I was focused more on the content and dialogue of each episode. Maybe that's why I thought Newbie Dash was a good episode, though I still concede that it could've been better somehow. It wasn't until halfway through season 7 and the start of season 8 that I started to pick up on the shift in tone and who was writing what episodes. @MegasWhat leaks are you talking about?
