    I am. I think in the past it would’ve been called atypical, but although it got missed when Imwas a kid, I can see the symptoms now and they make a lot more sense to me.

    Definitely AJ and Fluttershy got misused. They didn’t really do much at all.

    The behind the scenes reason is that it was written in season 4, and the other races weren’t as prominent yet.

    I figured as well that it was a money issue. Why wasn’t recasting an option though? It’s just a voice part and they could’ve found someone who sounded close enough.

    My feelings are very mixed now that I watched it. I liked the hippogriff intro and the animation, but also don’t entirely think some of the creatures fit in. That said, g1 did have a cat character too…The other characters seemed out of place though. Someone mentioned playing to the furry fandom…kinda wish people wouldn’t always put furries down. But the furry aesthetic is definitely different from mlp. Someone mentioned about how long the storm king was in power…I assumed he had taken over other areas before the attack on Equestria. We don’t know how long he was controlling that area. I agree with the time and distance issues. Mount Aeris seemed a lot closer in the actual show. My biggest issue is the gap between when it was written and when it was made. It made no sense not having the Pillars, Starlight, Flurry Heart, and the other races involved. The changelings, maybe the griffons should have been there…and Discord. Also the mane six weren’t written well enough. Twilight lost a lot of character development and didn’t use enough types of magic, Applejack and Fluttershy hardly did anything. Also Shining Armor and the Royal guards weren't around nor was Sunset though her being missing isn’t really surprising.

    Yeah the episode was cringe but the pairing is still ok.

    I would’ve preferred it actually being Grogar yeah. But it wasn’t all terrible.

    I was surprised this episode generated so much discussion over the two different type s of cider. Probably because I didn’t realize the non alcohol variety isn’t as familiar to Europe.

    Nothing spectacular but I’m another who she’d a tear or two at the line about the “last times”. People come to realize in retrospect that they treasure the moments more.

    This is another where I can see both sides. It was good that her parents were supportive but they got annoying at times too.

    I did have to laugh at the two lines mentioned above, but I can also see where a lot of the other commented that have been made are coming from.

    I liked that it came back for the Rainbow Roadtrip special at least.
