I would explore and document the various locations, cultures, and nations of the ponies world with full diagrams and recording equipment so that every aspect of their world could be recorded. Also I would upload all of Equestrian history to wikipedia...assuming I could manage to get ahold of the Doctor and communicate with Earth.

We should simply do good to do good. For better or for worse, people will have their opinions of us regardless of what we try to make ourselves look like.

For the sake of playing the devil's advocate, as bad as fox news and members of it's affiliates have been they are not the only ones attacking us, they are simply the most vocal about it. Don't think for a second that others who work at other media outlets don't share those opinions of us behind our backs and away from cameras.

In my humble opinion, I think the only reason she isn't is because she hasn't asked to join yet. I am certain that they would be more than willing to have her on the team and that all Dash would have to do is ask. lolwut? xD

As self-important and boastful as she was, Trixie never intended harm to other ponies. Diamond Tiara on the other hand is mean-spirited and doesn't care who she hurts. Being annoyingly boastful is better than being cruel and mean to others any day of the week.

BRAVO!! *brohoofs the post* /) What I will add to your post is that the Wonderbolts are not just for show, after all they responded to Spike's destruction of Ponyville with near lethal force. Also the context of the word "tank" seems to indicate something slow and armored. If they have tanks then there must be a military that uses them. Well they do have airships, and also Equestria must have had some kind of sea-faring era and some manner of space program as can be seen by a number of costumes in "Luna Eclipsed" such as Pipsqueaks pirate outfit, the little astronaut filly, and lastly the stallion who had a shark attached to his bum in reference to the movie "Jaws". They likely use "line tactics" like in wars prior to the 20th century, with the support of artillary(Pinkie's party cannon has to based off of something), magic attacks/defenses, and tanks(which may also double as artillary).

Applejack chastising Twilight for using magic in the episode "Winter Wrap-up" was because she supposed to be wrapping up winter "...the earth pony way". (You know, like how Twilight sang in the song "Winter Wrap-up"?). Since earth ponies don't use unicorn magic, it wasn't allowed to be used for wrapping up winter ANYWHERE in Ponyville, not just Applejack's farm. This is further evidenced by no other unicorn(except for Rarity who apparently thinks she's special...) using magic during the wrap-up. There have been plenty of times where Twilight has used magic on her farm during the episodes "Applebuck Season", "Return of Harmony" Pt. 1, and "Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" wherein Applejack didn't get angry or frustrated at Twilight for using magic. To that end you've analysed Applejack's line incorrectly. She was disguised as a tree in one of the episodes so whatever species that one is. Because magic makes it all complete? *ponyshrugs* Remember that point in "Mare In The Moon" pt 2 where Nightmare Moon tried to destroy them but failed? That proved once and for all that it isn't possible. The elements are physical manifestations of the virtues they are linked to, with magic being represented by friendship in and of itself. That's why the show is subtitled "Friendship is Magic", litterally it is the essence of friendship(in it's various forms) is a source of immense magical energy. Other examples that aren't the elements themselves are seen in "Hearth's Warming Eve" and "A Canterlot Wedding" pt. 2 wherein interpersonal bonds power immensely powerful magical spells. tl;dr not possible, it's been tried and it didn't work. You would have to destroy friendship and virtue itself.

CORRECTION: 4 episodes...."Mare In The Moon" Pt. 2, "Luna Eclipsed", and "A Canterlot Wedding" Pts. 1 & 2. She was also mentioned in "The Return of Harmony" Pt. 1 & "Hearth's Warming Eve" and had a possible(though speculative) role in "Sweet and Elite" as the race announcer for the Wonderbolts(http://pwny.at/c1). However I do agree, There needs to be more Luna...ALOT more. As I said to someone else, 4 episodes and mentions in at least 2 other episodes with a conjectural off-screen apperance in another.

I have an eye for details like this and I thank you for the compliment. As for specifics, I tried to think of what scenes might involve the dresses being in sight. Seeing that they would likely be seen in one of two places(being Carousel Boutique or Fluttershy's cottage), I tried to think to myself what episodes before "Suited For Success" showed the interior of either location. After I did that, it was only a matter of time searching through individual episodes.

Consider it confirmed! I write this as an append to my previous post. The first appearance of any of the gala dresses is in episode 10 "Swarm of the Century". Three of them are in the background of the scene where Rarity runs back to Carousel Boutique to try to stop the parasprites from eating her dresses. Looking closely at it, they appear to be Pinkie's, Fluttershy's, and Twilight's dresses and it should be noted that Twilight's doesn't look completed. *EDIT* You can see them here in the background just as Rarity bursts through the door.
