    Is that going to be the first expansion of the 2013 set? Also, do you have any idea when the first expansion is set to release? I thought it was coming up here pretty soon?

    I know what you mean about being a competitive freak . Just playing the game and enjoying it and it is the most important thing, and usually I don’t freak out or anything if I lose but when I’m playing it’s on haha. What colors do you prefer?

    Yeah, right now I’m going to stick with standard. It seems like a real chore to get into modern and especially legacy. I wouldn’t even know where to begin building a deck. There are just so many cards. I think it would take a lot of time. Yeah, I haven’t got a clue what the meta is out here but I’ll surely find out here soon.

    I’ll have to check the card shop, which I think I’m going to do tomorrow to see wether it is a booster draft or standard. It’s kind of nice having just gotten into Magic with the new block just coming out, so everything I own is standard and will be for a while.

    To put it nicely I’m extremely jealous. XD I have yet to meet a Brony and the fact that they were playing some Magic is just icing on the cake! Good for you though I should wear my Fluttershy shirt more often.

    I’ve been playing Magic the Gathering now for about two months and I’m HUGE into it right now. Though like all card games it puts a freaking dent in the wallet. I wish I could hook up with some Bronies someday and play some MtG but there are next to none where I live. I’m looking to going to my first FNM here soon.

    I love Derpy! I love her so much I have this on my wall. I think she’s just the cutest darn thing. Plus she’s a fun easter egg, it’s fun to keep your eyes peeled looking for her.

    What I love the most is that for the most part you are all intelligent people, you guys are nice, and caring, and live by the values that the show itself preaches. I’d say we are a pretty ideal community. We help each other, we support each other, we listen to each other. We are free to be ourselves and we aren’t judged for it. Plus all the fan-made content (especially the art and music) are nothing short of incredible, you guys rock!

    My favorite is Rarity, she actually used to be my least favorite of the mane 6, Fluttershy was my favorite pony but the more I watched and the more depth I saw in Rarity’s character she quickly became my favorite. I believe of all the ponies her character is the most complex.

    I would highly recommend watching this. If you were a fan of Avatar the Last Airbender it carries on from that, and they make references to the original Avatar so they keep that continuity. I loved the first season, it was much, much darker than ATLA.

    FireRed has to be my favorite version, and as for my favorite Pokemon I have to give it up to Gastly and its evolutionary line. OG Ghost-type Pokemon.

    Chance is hugely important. Life as we know it is so tenuous that without chance the world as we know it wouldn’t exist. A simple personal example here: The only reason I know my closest friend is because my dad had a BBQ one day and invited a friend of his and his family over, my dad’s friend had his son come over even though he didn’t really want to. Him and I played a little Skyrim together and the rest is history. Had he not shown up I wouldn’t even know him now. In short I’d say not only is chance important, I’d go as far to say that it is essential.

    I don’t believe it is simply a fad, yes once the show comes to an end I think the popularity will surely die but I think for some of us the show and it’s values have become apart of us. I know personally I have grown attached to each of the mane 6 and for me it won’t be so easily forgotten. . Yeah, a lot of shows are like that, I mean Invader Zim has been over for years, it went away and now it’s come back (as far as merchandise anyway). I see My Little Pony being a lot like Invader Zim once it ends.

    Haha I should have heeded your warning, that picture pretty much killed me. If I had to guess I would say it taps into some primitive fear, which was useful for when we as humans were living in caves and were nomads.

    It looked like a controller of some sort if I remember correctly, and it will somehow be able to interact with the games you are playing if I remember correctly.

    I don’t think there are words to properly express how epic that would be on a t-shirt. Its’ original so that would make even cooler.

    Unless you were really, really serious about possibly selling them back at a later date then I’d just go ahead and open them if I were you and display them, I mean it was a gift from your sis and she’d probably like to see them in your room. Plus we can all use ponies lying around in our rooms.

    I like this answer. Sort of off topic how old is Granny Smith? I remember that it is mentioned that Granny Smith helped found Ponyville, I just watched Winter Wrap Up and Twilight mentions that for hundreds of years they haven’t used magic to wrap up winter, so how old could she be?

    It would be utter confusion and I’d be shocked because she is not a very outgoing person and I think her and I are currently going through a rough patch.

    I’d say easily The Living Tombstone, I love all his work, and I have quite a few of his songs on my iPad. I also love Nomorethan9, Epic Wub TIme and Epic Pie Time are so funny.

    I LOVED weightlifting and I used to do it everyday, I got lazy over this summer and have stopped going all together. I think this thread has just re-inspired me to get back in there. Thanks everypony.
