Truth be told, I'll listen to quite a few different genres of music, but the ones I listen to the most are Electronic music and the majority of its sub-genres and Metal and the majority of its sub-genres.

 

If I had to pick an absolute favourite music genre though, it would have to be Symphonic Metal.

I like a plethora of electronic genres, mostly dubstep, glitch hop, house, etc... You know, the mainstream stuff. Also, some more hardcore stuff like trap. I also basically like anything with a good melody no matter the genre, usually soundtracks.

I listen to anything that appeals to my ears, which can really be in any genre in reality. However I find the majority of what I like to listen to is within the Rock genre. But really i just like music, and I'll atleast give basically any song a try, and I like music outside of my main genre, I don't like to isolate myself when there is all kinds of wonderful music across many genres.

I listen to a lot of what is classified as Punk Rock lately, as well as more pop rock, and of course quite a bit of Electronic. There's a slight mix of rap in there, some screamo elements in some stuff, and on occasion country. Heck Ill even go Classical if I'm bored and looking for something new. Basically every genre I will listen to with my favorite being Electronic and the wide spectrum of Rap.

Rock and metal. More specifically, classic rock; some classic metal; 90's/00's punk rock or alternative rock with punk or pop punk elements in it; pop punk; some post hardcore; a little bit of grunge; metalcore; and death metal (mainly oldschool death metal, from the late 80's/early 90's). So my tastes range quite a bit, like I'm okay with almost anything, within the rock or metal genres, not much outside of that. Probably the only two artists outside of those genres that I really like are James Blunt (his first album at least; I've only heard a very few songs from his later albums, so I don't know about his later stuff) and Depeche Mode, which is an amazing electronic band. Genres I will never, ever, get into or listen to of my own free choice include country, rap, and hip hop. Dubstep and other electronic forms of music I'm neutral on; there's probably some electronic artists out there that I wouldn't mind, but I don't feel any need to go looking for some.

I guess I don't like a certain genre. I like a certain song. I have everything, from rock to dubstep to vocaloids to soundtracks to 8-bit music, on my iTunes. I must say I've been more inclined to dubstep recently, though. Might be because of my headphones that make bass drops sound really good.
