It's not that big of a deal, with that clip that was just posted, it was in a clip thing that was aimed at kids.

 

The super bowl isn't just watched by adults, but by families, little girls, kids, everyone. So they wanted to put that in there for the little girls, NOT the bronies.

 

So really... It's not a big thing, they do that with every super bowl. It would be a big thing if it was a bronies thing, but with the clip that was posted, just confirmed that it was put in there for the kids, not the adults.

This is such a delight. Obviously, we wouldn't expect for ponies to appear on an ad, but it's a cameo that's worth it. I especially love how they're all dressed up in sporting clothes. x) I actually prefer the Keyboard Cat cameo a lot more, though.

Wow. I'm really trying to wrap my head around this. How the hell did this happen? It would be one thing if the clip was archived from an episode of the show, but instead, it's completely original. Did DHX seriously animate a second-long clip just for this ad? Did someone actually approach them to do it? Did Hasbro have a hand in this? Was Pinkie's cheer here archived, or was it original also? 

 

Damn, so many questions. My mind is blown to extreme proportions...
